Uneasy lies the head next to the head that wears a crown

I sense a theme here–two headlines spotted today in the supermarket checkout line, composing the entire front page of the tabloid the Globe:

Camilla Runs Back to Ex-Hubby

Laura Bush’s Nervous Breakdown: “I can’t take any more,” she tells Prez

I assume “Prez” isn’t Elvis Presley–last spotted, I believe, in my local Store 24.

I just saw exactly those headlines. And, I’m ashamed to say, I paged through the Globe looking for the Laura Bush story. Laura is devastated by the snuff film about her husband was the upshot, and that seemed perfectly credible to me. But then the piece went on to say that this was absolutely the last straw because George Bush has started drinking again and is attracted to Condoleezza Rice.

He’s not the only one attracted to Condi. See this.

You and I seem to be on some mysterious parallel path today, Neo. Right after I came home from grocery store I went online and found that story, which actually sounds rather convincing, don’t you think?

  4. Elvis Says:

I’ll be there to comfort her. I’m always there. When you need me. With tender love and understanding.

No way Neo; gotta be fake. I see the real Elvis every weekend here in a pizza shop.

Not saying where…. gotta protect the man’s privacy, y’know. ;)

I hope Condi and he work out.

  7. Fausta Says:

and is attracted to Condoleezza Rice
    Wait until Hugo finds out.

“I cannot marry Condolencia (condolence), because I am much too busy. I have heard she dreams about me”

Wow… talk about projection… If she really has dreams about him, they probably involve a court and the words “Chavez”, “human rights violations”, and “guilty”.
