With regard to Sophia Loren, you may not know that she starred in a Canadian TV movie some time ago, based on a Canadian novel called Lives of the Saints. I haven't seen this film, but I know it received good reviews; it seems like, in Canada at least, it is becoming a movie that they play each Xmas. That's it, that's all, I guess. btw, I can't say I've disagreed with a single thing you've written (although of course I haven't read everything). I must say my own worldview is in considerable sympathy with yours. Like you, I don't reveal my true identity on line because I'm `surrounded by liberals (ie. socialists) on all sides.' Perhaps again like you, I don't find liberalism / socialism inherently bad. It's just that it has developed certain... pathologies and blind-spots, like the conservativism of old (or of Pat Buchanan), and so I could not in good conscience identify myself as being a person on the left. thanks Roundhead Hi neo-neocon:
