Impending move to new URL

[I'm going to keep putting this post at the top of the page until I actually make the move.]

Here is the URL of the soon-to-be-unveiled new home of my blog. It’s getting closer to being ready.

I asked for details before checking your link to the new and still “beta” blog. I went over to the “new” blogger and it’s great!

yaakov: Yes, the new blog is still blank; I have a few things to do there before it’s fully operational. I’ve been resisting new Blogger partly because I’m so close to a move anyway. Blogger, both old and new, doesn’t have powerful enough troll-blocking mechanisms, as well as a few other things I’m looking for. The new blog site is an experiment, though–if in practice it doesn’t perform as it should, I may even return to the Blogger fold. But it should end up being more versatile.

I like the new look, neo! I look forward to you posting more content there.

In the meantime, it’s fairly straightforward to have the new site automatically forward visitors to the old site. If you wanted, you could set that up, and then remove it when you felt your new site was ready to stand on its own. Just a thought.

You know that Windows Live google like earth map as an ad? It is ingenious, you are almost made to wonder how far will it scroll. Which is a great attention grabber.

About Me

Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.
