About Me
Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon. My friends and family don't want to hear about my inexplicable conversion, so I started this blog to tell the tale of my political change and provide a forum for others. I have a background as a therapist, and my politics make me a pariah in the profession, too. Little did I know that I moved in such politically homogeneous circles. Why the apple? See this.

Science isn’t so objective as it is supposed to be based upon data. So objective can only mean “directly related with the facts in reality” rather than objective as “the person doing the research is non-biased and non-judgmental”.
Ha, Shrink is right about folks being ignorant on scientific methods.
Most folks don’t even understand the difference between deductive and inductive logic.
Sanity: Cutting Jihadists up in little pieces? Oh wait, never mind.
Siggy: Outcome based science is also known as predetermination and lack of free will in agent operations.
There’s nothing particularly wrong with trying to get one specific outcome.
Siggy: Gut instincts have something to do with reality, but certainly not all emotional reactions can produce something useful.
Sanity: *snorts* misunderstanding. Propaganda and psychological manipulation and deception is more like it.
Neo:Lol Al Gore? My god.
Siggy: Humans die and the killers get rich. I love that kind of pyramid scheme; it really is due to a perfect description of human nature.
Neo:1962 More mosquitoes, more malaria. Can’t eradicate disease when the Left needs something to keep the slaves down and needing soc[i]alism.
eck, I didn’t even know what DDT was but just from stuff I caught on tv alone back 10 years, I got this dreadful feeling over DDT. DDT sounded to me like VX does now. Poison.
Don’t forget the propaganda aspect here, just cause you have some cranks putting out bad stuff, it doesn’t necessarily mean bad things will happen. But if those folks have propaganda and manipulation power… then things go over the cliff.
Sanity: Five year old? I saw that brainwashed video of a little girl quoting chapter and verse on Warming.
http://ymarsakar.wordpress.com/2007/03/03/brainwashing-done-right/
Neo: Well, it wasn’t as if good or bad science ever prevented the Left from brainwashing folks.
Neo: The press should know better, Neo? Ha ha. Their editors don’t know better though, so it doesn’t matter what “reporters” know. Hell, a “lay” person could do a better job of writing and explaining this stuff than the reporters themselves! Look at the war effort in Iraq.
Siggy: Damn straight we aren’t chimps. They wouldn’t eat us, because chimps could beat the stuffing out of a 300 pound weight lifter. They could beat us to pulp. Besides, humans aren’t nearly in shape enough to be like chimps, with their high density musculature.
Sanity: Well, “we fix it” so long as we assume our own minds don’t need fixing.
Personally, I think Nature wanted human sapien sapiens because she got tired of seeing the highest forms of life wiped out by some punk asteroid. Nature can’t stop species from going extinct, her laws are too harsh, but we can.
Well psychologists should always talk about behavior, at least somewhat.
Sanity: Nihilism is the word for both fake multi culti and warmies.
Neo: Look Neo, the US education system has become the re-education camp of the Left. So given our education system… what we get is only what we should already have expected.
If you don’t teach common sense, then it doesn’t matter what science there is around in this countr.

Ya Neo. Her heart. The facts were wrong… but the story was true!
