It’s getting to be a qualification for office rather than a drawback.

    Just once I’d like to see the obligatory press conference without the loyal wife standing by the bastard’s side. The reporters track her down and she says, “I went shopping. The jerk got himself into this without me; now let him try to get himself out of it without me.”

    Our own Detroit scandal has featured the mayor complaining–besides the semi-obligatory claim that it’s a racial persecution–that it’s having an effect on his children. This is a hell of a time to think about the effects on his children.
