On the oil front though, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Bakken Shale... turns out we have supplies in the country that rival the Saudi's. (and the driving up the price makes it worth persuing it). thats better than the hydride fields being accessed... one burp and we go the way of the dinosaurs. actually, further back. [it traps heat 20 times better than CO2 and CO] so that might be the worst idea too... you know... there are too many worst ideas... does the term “perpetually out of touch” fit the left elite?
