About Me
Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.

This is the worst idea of many, many days. I just can not remember how long ago I read something crazier in mainstream politics.

It ain’t so. If there is one thing that Gore is mightily afraid of it’s getting beat again, and he knows he would get beat again.
You think that Obama supporters would defect if Hillary wins the nomination? What do you think would happen if both Female and Black Guy were thrown under the bus for Fat White Old White Dude?
Wait…perhaps I do want to see Goreacle run.

Would that it were so! It would make this year officially the most hilarious election ever. The Democrats, having effectively alienated half the party no matter who they choose, would then alienate the ENTIRE party- and with a guy who’s still got loser stench all over him from 2000, no less!

He’s too busy swindling people and organizations on his carbon off-set scam to run right now. Besides, he’d half to answer some embarassing questions.

does the term “perpetually out of touch” fit the left elite?
I see that worst idea and raise an even bigger one.
Fed eyes Nordic-style nationalisation of US banks
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2008/03/31/cnfed131.xml
and
US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to overhaul bank controls
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/markets/united_states/article3649147.ece
our necks are so way out there on the chopping blocks and we arent noticing.
lets see if someone can notice what happens when the fed is in complete control of banking, investments, and commodities?
[note they admit that these changes will not save us from our folly, so they are being done for what reason? asumption, presumption, the heck of it?]
what would happen if some more isolated economies that dont really benifit fully from the west decided to dump their stockpiled and never circulated gold?
On the oil front though, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Bakken Shale… turns out we have supplies in the country that rival the Saudi’s. (and the driving up the price makes it worth persuing it).
thats better than the hydride fields being accessed… one burp and we go the way of the dinosaurs. actually, further back. [it traps heat 20 times better than CO2 and CO]
so that might be the worst idea too…
you know… there are too many worst ideas…

Teddy Roosevelt split the vote with his Bull Moose Party. I submit that the Goracle represents the South-End-Of-A-Northgoing-Donkey wing of the Democratic Party.

I’ve wondered for a long time if this isn’t going to happen… It would be sort of comical to watch, you must admit.

Algore has to have higher negative ratings than a Hillary by now? If he grows a Hitler moustache and wins i’m moving to Alaska.

If this happens you can stick a fork in the Democratic party…if it ’s not there already.

I had to go back and check that it wasn’t published on April 1st. Evidently, frustrated at their inability to field a serious candidate, some Democrats are deranged by desperation.
