You may have noticed…

…that today I’ve given in fully to my addiction.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The first step is always in admitting we have a problem with addiction.

Well, he’s a handsome feller; lol, just kidding.

  3. vanderleun Says:

Humm, you may have something there.

    Please, be strong.

As Shrub once said to Laura: “It’s not a drinking problem. It’s a drinking solution.”

SD, as wiser person than I noted, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Grow up already. Reading the comments of the day what stands out is your almost moronic self-satisfaction with pat talking points that betray no hint of thought. If you’re fifteen, you’re excused (though you should take that in all senses — you’re excused from the gathering of adults.) If you are not fifteen, ask yourself why you come across as a teenager on line.

I’ll bet you’d have loved to say this to the jury at Saddam’s trial.

Don’t worry, Neo. Even if you have fallen, your loyal readers never will.

If only because we don’t have to read every Obama article even though you do have to write about each Obama article ; )

    Two things:

    I’m addicted to your addiction.
You are doing important work. Somebody’s got to point out the Emporer is naked. What are you supposed to do, ignore it every time he flashes his hiney?

  14. nyomythus Says:

The only thing I’m getting from Obama, through the Change Change Change Change smoke screen, is an appetite for a social ‘change’ based on an ‘expected or scorned’ if not damn near ‘mandated’ altruism; not good.

  15. sd Says:

    You’re prefer some other smokescreen?

  16. Thomas Says:

Not to get all psychobabble on ya’ll but I think one of the reasons Obama offends many intellectuals is because he shares many of their defects.

Perhaps “intellectual” isn’t the correct word, but I can think of no better term for someone with a large appetite for knowledge, who values reason and logic, who makes a conscious effort to sharpen their minds through the exercise thereof, and who enjoys a good debate.

I know I see many of my awful qualities in Obama and it offends the hell out of me.

For my part, I can see Obama’s BS very clearly because much of that BS I have as well. I don’t think I am alone here when I say this.

About Me

Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.
