I don’t usually post a series of links. But lately news has come so fast and furious, and so much of it seems important to know about, that it can’t all be discussed at length. At least, not by me.
So, thanks to many commenters who have provided the following, which I do hereby list:

India seems to be another friendly nation that Obama has snubbed while earnestly sucking up to enemies.
Obama’s been so busy doing things like appearing on the Letterman show that he’s only had time to speak to Afghanistan operations General McChrystal once in the seventy days since he appointed him as part of a supposed offensive there. But we should not be surprised; after all, Obama the Senator was chair of a subcommittee that would have had oversight of NATO involvement in the Afghan War, and he couldn’t be bothered to hold a single hearing. So I guess you might say that talking to McChrystal once is a kind of progress.
Climate change and that hockey stick.
Why does Obama keep snubbing the British? This article asks the question, but it doesn’t quite answer it. Personally, I think his behavior just one more example of the Obama Doctrine, which is to snub friends and kiss up to enemies. But those of us who question it are just “silly,” according to Robert Gibbs (“silly” has long been one of Obama’s favorite words for questions he doesn’t want to answer and opposition he doesn’t want to credit).

Wow, Neo. I just headed over here to give you the link to the climate “hockey stick” news, and you’re right on it!
If this pans out, it shows that the “hockey stick” (which has already been put in disrepute) may actually be a case of scientific fraud. But nevermind, we still need “cap and trade”.
Bets on this news making it into any MSM outlets??

The other night a friend remarked that history is happening very fast right now.
Which at first sounded strange to me, like saying the speed of light is faster than ever, but upon reflection I realized, yes, history is happening very fast right now.
This is one of those times — like the Thirties, the Forties, and the Sixties — where changes pile up by the day in the news and what happens now will echo for decades.
Meanwhile Pamela Geller reports Rash of BOMB SCARES ACROSS THE US:
Nobody’s talking about what appears to be an outbreak of bomb scares ……. this today and yesterday. Look at this, we are living in a state of siege.
Plus in the past few weeks there have apparently been terrorist plots in New York City, Dallas, and Southern California which have happily been foiled by the FBI and local law enforcement.
Not that you would notice much at all based on the mainstream media. The stories have been reported in such a vague way with scattershot follow-up that even if one is on the lookout for such stories it’s hard to know what to make of them.
Most strange and disconcerting.
