This is very disturbing. It’s the sort of article I recommend you read and then forward it to your friends, even the liberals among them. I would imagine it would give most people pause.

No surprise here. Fits perfectly with his scheme of dismantling the most highly specialized nation that existed.
Mediocrity in all things is like a noble goal for modern progressives.

Well I guess both my husband and I are on Obama’s death list.
Thanks, Obama, for all that you’ve done for us. I’ll see you in Hell.

“Mediocrity in all things is like a noble goal for modern progressives.”
You meant Nobel goal, right Steve?

Link sent to all on my mailing list.
Maria Cantwell, one of my Senator’s is on the Baucus Committee. She is going to get a phone call. Not that it will do any good! Except to make me feel like I’ve put another sandbag on the dike that’s trying to hold back the flood.

Progressives are just planning ahead for no one being able to afford a specialist.
October 10th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
There’s been a strong vein of vindictiveness toward specialists in this thing from the beginning, such as Obama’s dishonest and inaccurate claims that surgeons do tonsillectomies in order to make money and are paid wildly exaggerated amounts for amputations — and also, the refusal of Congress to enact tort reform that would place limits on malpractice liability that helps to drive some over-testing. Loving lawyers, hating doctors: yet another way that Congress seems to have the views of most ordinary Americans backwards. (And I’m a lawyer!)

No, it won’t give libs pause. They figure they’ll have a special list for specialists….. Hey, how about that?
Nope. The penalties to be paid for American hubris and exceptionalism are always going to be paid by others.
And serves them right, too.

Specialists have saved my life twice, because of incredible knowledge and skill, in the last 5 years. I guess the world is just getting too crowded and the left around the world wants to thin the herd.
