Some fragments of evidence is beginning to show that Scandinavians might have discovered America long before Columbus, but still Columbus was the one that really carried the message back to the old world.

I had the day off, so I went to my favorite watering hole and asked my favorite Navajo how to say “Happy Columbus Day” in Navajo.
He said: “F you white man.”
and I said: “Waddaya mean White Man? Columbus was Italian!”
Then we laughed and laughed and I bought him a beer. Columbus Day: bringing the races together….
