Yes, we went for almost eight years without a terrorist attack on the homeland, and within a year of Obama’s election, we have had one.

Mr. Frank, I hadn’t thought of that political angle to why the media is obsessed with whether Hasan had terrorist ties. He seems to have acted alone on an operation that wouldn’t require coordination with anyone, so who he talked to in the last ten years is of only minor relevance (we know where the ideology comes from). But being able to show that he has no ties to terrorist groups would cause the MSM to breathe a collective sigh of relief that this could not be politically tied to Obama’s leadership. It is true that even absent anything we might identify that Obama might have done differently, and no reason to lay any blame at his feet, it won’t play well politically if Ft. Hood becomes defined as a terrorist act on American soil.
I was wondering why so much energy was going into that question. Mystery solved. Thanks.

Research data presented by O’Reilly tonight revealed that the major networks have been suppressing the terrorism story and the shooter’s Muslim religion. The Obama fix remains intact.
