As best as I can tell, he is one of the very few principled politicians left today. I don't always agree with the principle but know that given evidence that it is wrong, he will think about it and possibly change. The greatest of rarities--an honest politician. I could be considered a strong conservative, but if Joe Lieberman had run for President instead of Algore, I would have voted for him in a heartbeat.
