Not only was Megrahi wrongly convicted, but the plane never was blown up! In fact, the airplane never existed! It was all done by the same people who faked the moon landing. And Elvis’s death. And the Kennedy assassination. And . . .

One point that US bloggers never care to notice is that many here in the UK believe Mr Megrahi to have been wrongly convicted, and the need for his conviction was dreamt up in your country. How many facts remain undisputed. One, that he was at Luqa Airport on 21 December 1988. To reasonable observers everything else is fiction.

A spokesman for East Renfrewshire Council now insists that the truant Lockerbie bomber, Abedelbaset Ali al-Megrahi is back home, safe and sound after his immpromtu little holiday.

“We have now spoken to Mr Megrahi, who is in his house. There is no cause for alarm, he is in his house,” said a spokesman for East Renfrewshire Council in western Scotland.

“He wasn’t able to speak to us yesterday but he was able to do so today. We have spoken to him and we don’t have any concerns. He is definitely at home in Tripoli.”

Ah well then. Move along folks, nothing to see here.
