Poor Arnold. He was made to believe that ObamaCare cares for his constituents. Now he has realized his mistake. I also wonder why do the Dems force this bill on people. Do they have hidden "special interests" on this?

No, Ahnuld was quite well known by the time he was investing in real estate. His fame as a bodybuilder and actor provided him the capital. But yes, he is an amazing person, having pretty much met all the lofty goals he set out for himself when just starting; and, like most successful immigrants, is a true patriot. I see the unpopularity he garners from both left and right as a sign of his capability, not as failure. What I don't get is how Pelosi can so unscrupulously screw the very state a part of which she represents. Oh wait, she's a Democrat. Never mind.

A few states have seen what is coming, and appear to be pro active. States' rights are heading down the tubes. And not just in the south this time.

IIRC, "Ahnuld" made his first million in real estate, long before anyone had ever heard of him...so it stands to reason that he's financially astute, if not politically.

I saw the Attorney general of Texas, Greg Abbott, interviewed on Sean Hannity's show on Friday. He and the Ags of some 13 states are prepared to challenge the Healthcare Bill on two grounds.
1. It does not treat the states equally with respect to Medicaid.
2. They believe the compulsion for all citizens to own healthcare insurance is unconstitutional.

AG Abbott is quite serious about this. I expect that, even if the bill is passed, it will languish, unenforced, in a gray area while these legal challenges are thrashed out. At least I sincerely hope so. That would provide plenty of time for all the terrible features to be publicized to the voters. Which will ensure more anger against the democrats come November.

One of our state delegates in Virginia isn't taking this lying down. Del Bob Marshall (R-13) has introduced to the Virginia House HB-10, the Virginia Healthcare Freedom Act. The purpose, I'm sure, is to prepare the way for a court challenge. We've got a new Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, who I guarantee you will carry this to the SCOTUS if given half a chance.

Arnold for his liberal tendencies has been the only clear head in the CA state.

Why is it that the CA legislature and the entire CA Democrat delegation has gone AGAINST Arnold and his remarks this last Wed?

Why is it that Democrats in the state CONTINUE to call for tax increases despite the 12.5% unemployment and 27% underemployment going on in the state?

It's insanity. I live here. I work with these idiots. I can't speak too loudly where I work. this site is therapy.
