Hardly a mystery. It was Prime Minister Howard of Australia who first warned of the danger of an Obama presidency. When Howard first heard of Obama’s candidacy and his statements on Iraq he said “I think that will just encourage those who want to completely destabilize and destroy Iraq, and create chaos and a victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for an Obama victory,” Howard said on Nine Network television.”

Is there any country where Obama is not held in contempt?

It was obvious from the first day of Obama’s campaign for the Presidency that he had zero foreign relations experience and little interest in gaining any. Is anyone surprised? An equally egregious performance by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has disappointed anyone who has followed our nation’s sloppy conduct in foreign affairs. Lets hope that our remaining friends around the globe have the patience to wait for the next administration to bring reason back to our foreign policies.
