My semi-annual week of asking for donations has ended, and I want to thank everyone who contributed. It’s a cliche, but it bears repeating: no matter how small or large, every amount is deeply appreciated.
In these difficult financial times in particular, I know it’s not always easy. If you weren’t able to donate this time, maybe next time. Or maybe never, and that’s okay too. I appreciate every reader and commenter here. After all, without you, what would this blog be?

I think you mean semi-annual, not bi-annual.

I think bi-annual is actually correct, Neo–meaning, as it does, twice yearly. It’s synonymous with semi-annual. Steven might be confusing the term with biennial, which means every 2 years. Nothing to fix!
Incidentally, I was pleased and honored to contribute to your site. It gives me the pleasure of reading both your always-fine posts and the great comments of others. Plus, I think of it as paying fairly for the privilege of doing something I so love to do–mouth off!
