I keep recommending columns by Hanson, and this one is no exception. His style isn’t flashy; Hanson’s not about showing off how clever he is. But he has a rare knack for summing up whatever situation we might be facing.

I agree with you about VDH, Neo. His summaries are especially good.
His columns….and your blog…are always must reads for me

As VDH said, it was all there.
VDH is also an fine example of how liberal arts- not the PC crap stuffed down students’ throats today- an elevate.

I am printing lots of copies of VDH’s article and will leave them wherever I go. I will pass them out like candies. I will memorize and repeat this article. I will attach it to billboards and to political signs in various yards. I will email it. But most of all, I will enjoy it.

Neo, forgive me If I am once again directing you to something you have already posted about:-) but you would love this recent interview with (lifelong Democrat!) Moe Tucker of the Velvet Underground. She says what VDH says, only in plainer, more colorful language. It’s awesome.
