Go be-swan yourself

Whenever I get blue, and want a little pick me up, I visit GoFugYourself, and am almost never disappointed.

Today is no different. Feast your eyes on this:

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s…it’s…it’s a cross between a a tutu and a corset and camouflage for lying in wait in a duck blind.

It’s Nancy Pelosi’s lame (in both senses of the word) duck session costume.

  2. expat Says:

I wonder whether she would run around with her head chopped off. The thought reawakens my feather phobia.

  3. Shouting Thomas Says:

Brings new meaning to the word “chick.”

  4. Scott Says:

I wonder where the idea for that garment was hatched?

  5. Bob T Says:

    nice shoes!

  7. CV Says:

Reminds me of the dress the singer Bjork wore to the Oscar ceremony a decade ago (I think):

Steve Martin was hosting that year, and followed Bjork’s appearance (in her wacky dress) onstage. He paused, and the audience was just waiting for him to comment on the dress. He said, “I was going to wear MY swan….”

  8. Curtis Says:

This is the doing of Howard the duck.

  9. Liz Says:

Okay, it looks a little drag queen-ish from behind. But she looks good from the front, when she’s posing and has some control over the angles.

  11. Baklava Says:

If you go to the site you can see the front.

Bob, At first I thought I liked the shoes until I saw the front.

She looks like she’d never drown – looking at the front :)

  12. SteveH Says:

I saw the front and would definitely pluck her.

  13. Tom Says:

I’m with Steve. Slipping her out of that would definitely pick me up. But maybe that’s not what was in Neo’s mind….

  14. Victor Krueger Says:

As far as its being duck hunting camo, the colors are all wrong and showing way too much skin. Unlike deer, ducks do see in color and the wrong colors will scare them off. I do get your point however. It is a horrible dress.

It might be good to see what could be done that looks good (if a bit odd) as eveningwear in Max4 or one of the other hunting camo patterns.

  15. Mr. Frank Says:

    Her cup runneth over.

  16. vanderleun Says:

    Fah…. now this…. THIS….. is the dress!

  17. Webutante Says:

    Adorable and my next post

  18. holmes Says:

Yeah, I didn’t really notice the dress.

  19. LAG Says:

Proves once again you can dress a pretty woman in anything and it don’t change a thing.

  20. Gringo Says:

It is reassuring to know that my generation did not have a monopoly on inanity.

    Wiki, wiki…

  21. Gringo Says:

Mr. Frank wins the comment of the thread award.

  22. Perfected democrat Says:

2010 update of Mae West style? Anyway it would work on a Victoria Secrets Runway, where everybody would just be admiring the fashionabilitease…

  23. Perfected democrat Says:

    That can’t be refudiaterated…

  24. turfmann Says:

Feathers? I don’t see any feathers.

And Baklava is right. Once you see the front… Oh my…

If she finds herself out of work she can always get a job as a life preserver.

  25. Michael Adams Says:

I suppose most folks on here don’t know: Gets mighty cold in a duck blind.

  26. LAG Says:

Mr. Frank wins? Not yet. Here are two:

    -”The game’s afoot!”

-”How do I get out of this chicken outfit?”

  27. helvetica Says:

ACHOOOOO! Sorry I am just allergic to your dress.

On another note, I wonder why feathers are not politically incorrect, like fur is. Maybe because birds are dumb and are not “cute”?

  28. rickl Says:

    Nice, um, tailfeathers.

  29. Ben Durland Says:

Thanks very much for this great submit;that is the form of thing that keeps me going by way of these day. I’ve been wanting round for this site after being referred to them from a buddy and was happy when I discovered it after looking for some time. Being a avid blogger, I’m pleased to see others taking initivative and contributing to the community. Just needed to remark to point out my appreciation to your article as it’s very appleaing, and plenty of writers do not get authorization they deserve. I’m positive I’ll drop by again and can suggest to my friends.
