Jack in his youth, at the age of 94:
“The good old days are this second.”

Awww nuts. I was just speaking to my 80 year old mother about him today as a matter of fact and we were in agreement that he may live to 110.
Well, it certainly seems like it was a life well lived. Godspeed Jack!

I will miss him, approximately 1,000 times more than I will miss Mr. Olbermann, who was a damn fine sportscaster.
(I watched both, in my youth, on local LA television)

What an impressive man, someone who took charge of his life and lived it courageously, and on his terms.
Godspeed, indeed.

I loved Jack. His energy and optimism were inspirational. We have lost a wonderful human being, but his message lives on. God bless and keep him and comfort his family.

I remember seeing his TV show during the 60s, in black & white.
