About Me
Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.

Obama, or did he?

When these guys pop up, one questions… why are they still alive? Khomeini in Paris? What was the Shaw thinking?

Obama didn’t see this coming. His Cairo speech shows that. An MB person could never have said the things, even mentioned the things, Obama did regarding women and Israel and etc. Consider this statement: “Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust.”
That Obama would even consider some sort of rapprochement between the West and Islam is proof enough his thinking is clearly progressive, or, in a word: stupid. Or another word: deluded.
Obama has a great vacuum. He knows what he hates but he doesn’t know what he loves. Of course he loves himself but he doesn’t know that.
Meanwhile, the sharia-acrocy is forming. That they will attack is sure. Who they will attack is how we should frame our defense.

The question remains; will our current administration in DC finance our sworn enemies?

Global caliphate by democratic elections? Once again, give Islamists credit for using our own values against us.
As for Obama and the fool vs. knave argument, I’m leaning heavily toward knave these days.

Shame. I feel shame. I’m over 60 years old and after Vietnam, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Clinton, Bush 1&2 and finally Obama (spit) I feel shame at how I’ve let this world change me. Once I thought the men of this world really desired peace, but I do not believe this any longer. Violence is the coinage of this realm we find ourselves inhabiting on the worlds stage. We are not being asked to like the coinage of this realm, but that is the only coinage that has value. Again, I did not always believe this – but reality bit me on the buttocks about a decade ago.
@ Casca – Indeed, what could the Shaw of Iran been thinking when he allowed the Ayatollah Khomeini to continue to live in exile. The same can be said about Gitmo; what sane man deals with lunatics in such an obscenely mild manner? Egypt? A Caliphate is rising from the ashes and our poor civilization frets and trembles more about how compassionate we treat the offenders than with pursing their demise.

From Jihadwatch.com:
“In February, Rashad Hussain, U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, gave a talk in the Afghan capital of Kabul in which he called on locals to recommit themselves to their religion:
“I am of the opinion that one of the strongest tools that you can use to counter radicalization and violent extremism is Islam itself, because Islam rejects violent extremism,” Hussain told the gathering of Afghans, according to a transcript obtained by WND from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.”
Wow!
But then “violent extremism” in Islam is REFRAINING FROM killing and enslaving kafir.
“Fellow Muslims, Akbar only killed one kafir last month. This extreme behavior cannot be tolerated. Akbar, you may not join out next raping and pillaging spree.
