Obama…

the negotiator.

It is another media non-story, with the usual emphasis on process instead of product. Biden sez, Boehner sez, Bamster sez, blah blah blah. Hardly nuttin’ there about what was actually in the deal.

  2. Parker Says:

“Forty-five minutes later, aides shook hands on a final deal and Daley, Obama’s chief of staff, called the president in his residence to tell him a deal had been reached. At 11:04 p.m., Obama addressed the American people from the White House Blue Room, with the Washington Monument lit behind him.

‘Tomorrow, I’m pleased to announce that the Washington Monument, as well as the entire federal government, will be open for business.’ ”

What a negotiator! He has aides, a Daley, and the MSM do his heavy lifting. Why should he change his ways? It got him an Illinois senate seat, a US senate seat, and the keys to the oval office.

“… blah blah blah. Hardly nuttin’ there about what was actually in the deal.”

Details, details, we don’t need no stinking details.

neo, this is a bit off topic, but I know your fondness for dance, and maybe Obama and Boehner could use one of these to sort this argument out and have a good time, too. Just push back the furniture in the Oval Office and get everyone on their feet.

About Me

Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.
