Number one, we need to chastise William Kristol. I guess it’s okay to get snookered. I guess it is being “adult” to worry about PR and “save” ourselves for the real battle. I guess it would eventually be okay to collude with the enemy!

With few exceptions, the folks inside the beltway are not serious about addressing the deficit/debt crisis because they are only concerned with the next election cycle. And, make no mistake about it, it is a crisis. It looms ever larger everyday as each day the feds have to borrow/print 4-5 billion to continue their binge spending.
Yet, a large percentage of the public has not the slightest idea of what awaits the nation if we do not begin to turn the ship of state. We need a Churchill and all we have is Ryan, and Ryan is not enough.
The debt crisis and the challenge posed by radical Islam are the defining issues of this era. We either deal with these issues in an effective manner or we don’t. It is all a matter of will. Yet, a large percentage of the public has not the slightest idea of what awaits the nation if we do not begin to turn the ship of state. We need a Churchill and all we have is Ryan, and Ryan is not enough.

Broken arrow! I say again, we need a Churchill and all we have is Ryan, and Ryan is not enough.
