It’s been reported that they dropped $10 million on the wedding for a marriage that lasted 72 days. I wonder if they at least made a sex tape to sell to help them recoup their costs.
What a shallow, irresponsible couple.
I generally agree with the principle that it’s none of my business how others spend their own money. But I sorta hope there’s a mini backlash against them for this monumental waste of money. Make the reality TV star face reality.

My rule of thumb has always been “the more lavish the wedding, the shorter the marriage”.

According to one story today the happy couple made $18 million off the wedding coverage. So, if true, they dropped $10 mil on the wedding, but they netted $8 million. Not bad for a 72 day marriage.

Waste of money?? Think of all the people who made a nice tidy sum off of the wedding… caterers, limo drivers, etc etc. They should do this often! Now that’s speading the wealth around!

Rickl- that explains my folks’ marriage… they wed six months after meeting, her in a “gunnysack(TM)” and him in his “funerals and weddings” suit, buying only her bouquet and the priest doing the service gratis because he was so delighted she’d married.

You think she actually risked getting pregnant, or allowed herself the discomfort of a monthly cycle? The question will be “is she on the shot, or using the pill and skipping some?”

I must admit, I am aware of the Kardashian phenomia– although I wouldn’t recognize them without a guide.

My thoughts exactly. I hope she has a dozen more nonsensical weddings. She could single-handily lift us out of recession.
