   Mr. Frank, They’re probably eligible for all or most of that now. I helped an elderly relative apply for Medicaid in Ohio. She’s the type of person Medicaid was intended for – permanently disabled from a brain tumor and seizures, and a long-time widow with no assets. In several places throughout the application instructions, it assured the applicants that illegal immigration status would not harm their chances for approval in any way, and would not result in investigation or prosecution. They were practically begging them to apply. No wonder we’re broke.

   maybe he is saving THAT for when the collapse of middle class household value works through and they cant pay or raise welfare to meet the food prices… (steak is up nearly 10%)…

   anyone, like me from an immigrant family will INSTANTLY see what benefit is key here…

   Citizen children can petition for their parents citizenship once they turn 21… (maybe before, if the petitioners can show financial means)

   ie… as i said 100 times before

   they want something

   they come up with something to sell you on something that can achieve what they want, but not directly – if you ask they deny that the outcome is the outcome.. (after the fact they deny that anyone could know that was it, and it was an unintended consequence. but it isnt)

   later we find out that the thing they sold us on, like liberation, was the removal cornerstone holding up some arch, like family… which was the corner stone of a free nation.

   without it, it collapses…

   its forked tongue, Gemini faces, ulterior motives…

   my amazement is that you can wack the smart people this way over and over and over and ego protection will completely hide it and prevent them from stopping it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   its like watching a sociopath and their victim partner in a relationship… everyone wonders why they are together, and why she or he cant see what is blatantly obvious…

   of course… its EVEN more obvious to someone who has experience, and been there done that…

   but the crux of it is to convince the dupe, not everyone else. and the dupe is too smart to be a dupe, and has too big an ego and too much confidence and too much self esteem and knows they are right, as they copied every other dupe.

   hard to convince them till they wake up stretched over a desk with their bung hole hurting and some object they never imagined wedged there for the amusement of the one who handed them the excuses.

   all you have to do is look at the spravka they give you… oh.. murdering 50 million babies before birth? that’s not eugenics… has no effect… its just birth control… wait.. no, they cant say that, they promised it wasn’t.. oh yeah… its one of those ephemeral rights that come from a penumbra! just forget that the inventors designers and implementers were the fathers and mothers of eugenics… these are not the droids your looking for…

   Excellent analogy!

   Who worries about “the cow” when it is all about the “Ice Cream?

   The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
   To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot. The class had done a great job in their selections.

   Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia’s mother.

   The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best.
   Everyone applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said,

   “If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream.” She sat down.

   The class went wild. “Yes! Yes! We want ice cream.” She surely could say more. She did not have to.

   A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn’t sure.

   Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it? She didn’t know.

   The class really didn’t care. All they were thinking about was ice cream.

   Jamie was forgotten.

   Olivia won by a landslide.

   Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and fifty-two percent of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want ice cream.

   The other forty-eight percent of us know we’re going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.

   we cant buy a house, race rules prevent us.

    Cow poop, plankton, and beetles, as opposed to ice cream (see Mr. Frank’s post), refers to the underlying realilty which can only be ignored so long. It’s also a jab at “the sky is falling, the oceans are dropping,” freaks.

    Your “lesser of two evils” link is a great link. I don’t think Romney is a lesser of two evils, but that he has to appear acceptable to the Republican establishment because without that, realistically, they’s shoot him down. They would prefer a Democrat they could “work with.” Someone like Hilary Clinton.

With the truly loathsome Nat’l Security breaches that the press is colluding in, America is endangered. It is due, NOT like Watergate where the press was adversarial, to an unforgivable alliance that isn’t going to be swept under the rugs. NOPE, this time Repubs are joined by some very upset and muscular Democrat members of congress–Hello, Senator Feinstein–and the cry for independent investigators & prosecutors won’t evaporate.

    My objection is that Obama is unilaterally deciding something that should be done through the legislature and compromise.

    Unfortunately (fortunately for his re-election prospects) Obama is unable to compromise his principles.

    Probably most of the people covered by his fiat would get to stay here in any compromise.

    But their status is important – IMO these people and many of those who came here illegally and who now have deep roots (deep=married, a business, speak English, kids) should get a permanent status that 1) forecloses any future pathway to voting citizenship and 2) does not allow any sponsorship for others to immigrant.

    Aggressively deport recent arrivals as an example to possible future illegal immigrants and to Americans here – that we have enforcement mechanisms that work efficiently.

    Most conservatives and independents are OK with a well diversified legal immigration policy, but object to a non enforcement program designed to inflate the ranks of voters for the demagogues on the left.

    If what Obama is doing is not subversive of our Constitution and does not violate his oath to protect the Constitution and execute the laws of the United States faithfully, then what does?

    Basically, because Americans won’t vote for him in the amount to get him reelected, he’s gone shopping for votes and what he is spending is American security, prosperity, and rule of law.

    If anyone is not outraged at this usurpation of our power and consent, then as the Brits say, they know fuck all about our history, rights and duties as citizens.

    The evidence isn’t just trickling in, it’s roaring in.
