But what will come in October? Romney has no sealed divorce records, so it can’t be that. Could it be a sexual harassment charge, a la Herman Cain, or an alleged affair, a la John McCain? Or, because of Romney’s unfortunate (to Obama, that is) squeaky-clean history on those scores, will it be more allegations of nefarious business deals instead?
Then again, perhaps it will involve whomever Romney chooses for Veep, even though it won’t be Sarah Palin. Nobody’s perfect, right? Especially when challenging the very perfect Barack Obama.
Romney needs to let it be known he is getting together with Sheriff Joe and will make Obama’s fraudulent birth certificate an issue when the slander attack comes.
They did it to Palin. They did it to Cain. They did it to Zimmeran. When it happens to Romney, and it will, we should raise such an outcry that it will signal the end of a media dedicated to the downfall of America.

If there is an October surprise it will happen off shore, its the only thing left for BHO to exploit. Team Obama is certainly capable of creating a crisis that can’t go to waste. I agree that Obama is likely to do as Bill Clinton did: an October surprise which is some type of military threat, i.e. a threat which tends to rally patriotic Americans to the side of their POTUS.
However, I also expect an October surprise which will be racial, and which will rally to Obama’s side this demographic: well-intentioned white people who buy into the political correctness which pervades our culture. The October surprise will motivate this demographic (which will have a tendency to sit out this election) to trek to the polls.
Obama has always used race. A 100% white European Barry Dunham would have never gotten into Columbia, would have never gotten into Harvard Law, would have never been President of Harvard Law Review, would have never been elected even a state senator in Illinois, would have never given an address at the 2004 Dem National Convention.
