It’s come to my attention that some people who’ve installed Ad Blocker or similar programs on their computers may have had the Amazon widgets on my right sidebar disappear as a result, which would make it difficult for them to order from Amazon through my blog. So I’ve created an alternative method here.
Just click on this link and order, and I think that should work.
I’m creating a new category on the right sidebar called “Amazon orders,” and putting this post in it. That way you can always find it if you need to.

Hi Neo,
12/3/12
Just a point of reference. I notice this link has a different id reference. I just want to make sure that you are getting the credit.
http://www.amazon.com/?tag=amazusnavi-20&hvadid=13191552728&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2433600611077781158&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&ref=pd_sl_7j18redljs_e&hvkeyid=amazon
see last line &ref=pd_sl7j18redl…..
as opposed to
http://www.amazon.com/s/?tag=neo0b-20&link_code=wsw&_encoding=UTF-8&search-alias=aps&field-keywords=sound+of+music&Submit.x=13&Submit.y=10
see 1st line- tag=neo)b…..
Also, while I’m thinking about it. With multiple items in the basket?
Do you get credit for everything that is placed in the basket or only those items that are searched for each time and placed in the basket?
One final question- Is it possible to just add a refererence key at the end of the amazon.com to always get credited to you?
.
For example-
If one types http://www.Amazon.com/s/?tag=neo0b-20
would you get credit for any purchases made?
And the reason I asked, is that sometimes one can’t get back to your website to do an actual search. If there was a certain fixed code that could be added via the web address when we are typing in http://www.amazon.com…. you might see more sales as sometimes we readers forget to go through your site or can’t find the right word choice to bring the item up via your site. Just some questions that have been on my mind for a year or so. I enjoy your depth and your view of things. I wish my liberal brother and his family had a similar transformation as you did. Perhaps then some actual dialog could occur instead of Bush, Bush, Bush bla, bla, bla so to speak

Mike: I appreciate your efforts to use my portal, but I’m not tech-savvy enough to know the answer to your questions.
I think I once read that old items in your cart don’t count if they’ve been in there over a certain time period (and of course I don’t recall the time period). I’ll try to look it up later and post something about it. As for id reference stuff, etc., I really haven’t a clue. Sorry! Wish I knew.
I do know that if you go to “categories” on my blog and click on the “amazon orders” category, there’s a link there you can use if the widgets aren’t showing up. Hope that helps.
