Which is why I get to mention the movie again.
Perhaps I’ll take this opportunity to recommend this audio, which features some great reminiscences about the movie from actor Stephen Tobolowsky, who played insurance salesman Ned Ryerson (“Watch out for that first step, it’s a doozy!) in the film.

always has been one of my favorite movies, and not just because i was born on Groundhog Day. love the message that redemption is possible, even for the biggest louts among us.

It’s one of those movies where when I see it I just don’t change the channel.
Like I always say… “Gosh you’re an upbeat lady!” And remember, “Don’t drive angry”. Now I’m going to “say a prayer for world peace…. amen”.
And remember “Winter, slumbering in the open air, wears on its smiling face a dream… of spring. Ciao. “

“I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters.*That* was a pretty good day. Why couldn’t I get *that* day over, and over, and over… “

I listened to the Tobolowsky link only until the Intro said “Public Radio International.”That was it for me. Public radio seduces listeners by mixing in neat leetle tidbits with their obvious propaganda, in my experience.

Don Carlos: It’s basically just the actor talking about the experience of making the movie, and telling anecdotes. Mostly a monologue.
