They must calculate that it’s better for Obama to be considered unaware to the point of negligence than to say he was aware of the debacle and let it go ahead anyway. I suppose they think that their rank and file will excuse it because it shows how lofty Obama is, how elevated above the common and petty concerns of lesser mortals.

Here’s the thing, though: none of his people are ever held accountable, either. I think the only people who have left under some sort of cloud of shame were Van Jones (for his past opinions) and Lisa Jackson (for her FOIA-skirting email account, not that others aren’t doing it). In a sane world, at minimum, Holder, Napolitano, Sebelius, and the lying head of the NSA would have resigned/left “to spend time with their family.”

Neo, ideas pop up as I read the posts and comments, so it just so happened to occur while I was at this page. Not necessarily connected to a single comment or person.
After it happens, I no longer remember the process by which it occurred, so it’s not possible to trace back the backups either.
It’s always possible that the last 20 comments or so combined with a unique assortment of Neo posts, ended up with an imagined idea that came later. I tend to keep a large passive reserve to put things in for analysis and it just outputs products every once in awhile.
