Totten is rational, which means that he’s not on the same page as the Arab street.
The domestic upheaval that would result from any Sunni power following his logic would be terminal. So, the only way that Israel can work with the Sunni is under the radar.
As a technical note: Israel already has a direct flight path to Iran. Neither Syria nor Iraq have effective air forces.
As for range limitations: suffice to say that Israel has solved them.
The larger problem, with Barry ‘in charge’, is what would happen to the Israeli economy AFTER Bibi does what must be done. THAT’S the dilemma.
It should be obvious that Barry has already threatened Jerusalem with sanctions such as parts embargoes should Israel stray from the dictates of Washington.
And it must be obvious to all, by now, that Barry is hitting the bong more often than the fairway.
We might ask when President Jarrett is going to wake up! Surely the Iranians are feeding her crumbs all the while — a back channel disinformation campaign for the ages.
Folks, this is what you get when a Gonnabee is ‘in charge.’ He’s kicked so many cans down the road that they’ve pile high, exceeding the angle of repose. In such a case, the cans come tumbling on down, crushing his ego.
The Wan is taking the nation into a failure cascade. Plainly he’s alienated the rest of the planet. He’s no longer the leader of the free world, he’s its behinder.

And in other news, the Swiss refiners are admitting that they’re melting flat out to meet Chinese mega-orders for both Au and Ag. Even as they’re the world’s top producer of both, Beijing is hoovering up essentially ALL of the rest of the world’s precious metal output.
Which leaves India to purchase metals that can only come from Western inventories.
So it’s no wonder that the bullion banks are being emptied at a fantastic clip. JP Morgan Chase sold off its gold vault less than a month ago. It’s reputed to be the largest in the world. (Who can say, perhaps the Chinese have built ones even larger.)

Again I have to wonder: if Obama intended to destroy America’s credibility and the close relationships with her allies, what would he do differently?
Lizzy, he wouldn’t go on golf tours as much. He’d be in the basement planting nukes under cities.
