  1. So the Left and their media goons are copyright violators too or employers of second class citizens for slavery interests?

Nice, I guess we could have predicted that if we thought about it.

It’s always stressful to know that people hate you, whether they know you or not. The 2 minutes of hate is very useful in consolidating a people against a common enemy. But even unorganized media saturation and hate/despisement can affect a human’s empathy senses, overloading them.

That is both humanity’s weakness as well as its social strength.

Children and adults care what other humans in their “circle” or “tribe” think of them. Humans consider that an essential emotional and resource path to survival. Those who are hated are eventually exiled or killed by the tribe. Thus all kinds of physiological stresses activate in response to this “sudden death” feeling.

The Left has used fear of being hated to attack people using personal assassination methods, such as racism charges, or other blackmail or background digging techniques.

Generally speaking, humans can free themselves from this fear by dehumanizing strangers and other humans that they don’t personally know, removing the social authority and social power other humans have over an individual. The thing about the body is that, not even self deception works to fool the nerves and organs. So a person has to truly believe it or have a central core strength powerful enough to resist external authorities and threats.

Also originally the entire campaign was only organized against the woman’s face because it was a kind of displacement or projection. Since Obama didn’t seem like he cared what the cattle in America thought (voters), people sought out someone that “might have cared” or might be hurt if they focused social pressure. People knew it wouldn’t do anything, but that doesn’t remove the desire to displace negative emotion unto a more vulnerable target.

  2. Neo,
Re bullying. Even the NFL players are called bullies and meanies now. They need someone to protect them from their peers. Who knew football players were so delicate.

  3. A woman who dealt with the government, thinking she’d get something for free (pics of her family) ends up getting burned.
She’s the perfect spokesperson for Obamacare.

  4. “A legal resident from Columbia”. Now, would that be in South Carolina, the myriad other States with a Columbia, the long-lost supercontinent, or the dreadful University in NYC?

  5. So she’s a Hispanic non-citizen? Natch.

“You gotta throw the corn where the hogs can get to it.” — Bill Clinton, 1993.

  6. You keep bringing up O’Neill…

My First Cousins are his direct descendants.

IIRC, they’re his Great-Grandchildren. Their Mother was a maiden O’Neill. Her high point was acting across from Gregory Peck — if you call putting your hand out to him so that he’d sign your book. The image is so fleeting it requires slo-mo on the DVD. She still has that book. (The Snows of Kilimanjaro)

She was a beau of Martin Milner — dumping him in favor of my Uncle.

ALL of the O’Neill ticks traveled down the genes — which is a very mixed situation for them.

    Beautiful handwriting, though.

At least they’re not destined to die in a hotel room.

    Isn’t it a small world?

  7. Beverly, she looks ethnically Irish — with her complexion and auburn hair — usually a dead give-away.

  8. Maybe she should call “Joe the Plumber” to commiserate. Oh, right, it’s only bullying when it originates from one side. And she hasn’t even had several of her home state’s bureaucrats go trolling through their records and leaking the results to the press yet.

  9. Re: “I can’t figure out why anyone would call it cyber-bullying, though, when the target wasn’t really Adriana, and no one even knew her identity.”

    Two quick thoughts:
    1) Why do anonymous commentators on the net take things personally? Guess it’s just human nature–the internet is the best disproof there is of Rawls’ veil of ignorance.

    2) She’s weak-mindedly succumbing to the current manufactured meme-theme of bullying.

  10. “Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company. Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.”

  11. There was a Friends episode in which one of the male characters was excited about being hired to be photo model for a public service ad, until he saw himself plastered all over NYC as the poster boy for VD. Maybe our Colombian miss is experiencing a little of the same shock.
