So, does it? — 18 Comments

  1. My wife is under the assumption that I am her primary fashion consultant. Are there any women out there that are not focused on their weight?

  2. At the Great Tribulation, the last unit of currency will be spent by a woman trying to change the way she looks.

  3. Seen the photo online of the tailgate of a pick-up? Had Obama’s face and the question “Does this Ass make my truck look fat?”

  4. OlderandWheezier: Answer is YES!! (-:

Heard on Rush today that “the morning after pill” states that it won’t work for ladies “weighing more than 176-lbs”!!! Which means, in our plump day & age, that hordes will still be at Planned Parenthood for baby aborting.

    A World Turned Upside Down.

  5. You will just have to imagine this one- A radio program likes to list their favorite bumper sticker of the week.
A few weeks ago they had this comment.

    On the bumper sticker
There was a “saintly” picture of Obummer, halo and toga.
Just underneath the picture was the phrase-

“Does this A$$ make my truck look fat?”

Sort of says it all 🙂

  6. That is a great cartoon. Thankfully, my wife is still petite and knows (with no taint of humility) she is cute in my eyes.

  7. Does this body make me look like a slut? Oh, how dare you, get away, you beast, you 60 year old radio talk show host. Oh, no, don’t stop.Don’t stop.

  8. Does this dress make me look fat?

Of course not dear. The dress has nothing to do with it…

  9. I’m sorry dear: did you say something?

…well. You know me: I only pay attention to the important stuff, so I really hadn’t noticed anything amiss.

Are Ivan and Mary coming over tonight?

Did you get that recipe I sent you?

C’mere. Look at this (video of cats). Heh.

Trust me on this …the question’s raison d’Ă©ÂŞtre will pass. Quickly. Diplomatically. Unanswered.

It wasn’t all that important anyways lol.

  10. Is there a way to find cartoons from the past that one remembers despite passage of time? Somebody out there must be doing this.

Decades ago, in New Haven, I saw a cartoon posted on a laundromat wall. It showed a woman sitting in an overstuffed chair with her head in her hands, and a man standing, holding a damaged lamp, saying something like “It’s a broken lamp, not a metaphor for our lives, and I’m going to fix it”, which kills me to this day.

Beyond Art. I’d send the cartoonist money.
