Black Friday at Amazon
For me, it’s Leftover Friday. Each to his own.
But since it’s in my interest to promote shopping at Amazon through the neo-neocon portal—I’ll point out that Amazon has a ton of special deals for Black Friday and lasting through November 30. Here’s an offer that relates particularly to books.

Ah – my daughter as Amazon Prime, and we already did our Black Friday Christmas shopping before 9 AM, without the benefit of your portal.
We did score some outstanding bargains, without the hassle of getting up at the ass-crack of dawn and standing in line. (Sorry, I do not do big box stores in the wee hours… just don’t) A local Texas gourmet food producer, Fischer and Wieser does some fantastic sauces and condiments, which we all love (and they are local!). Their whole website had a 50% off until early evening Central Time, so we got a fancy gift assortment for my mother.(The discount more than paid for the UPS shipping.
I highly recommend them, BTW – the mango-ginger-habanero sauce/marinade is fantastic on shrimp. The last time we were at their main store in Fredericksburg, Texas, there was a little sticker on the front window, courtesy of the Romney campaign “Yes, I did build this business!”

I know you think Snowden is a traitor, but I have a view that there ha been a huge effect on the country. This, from Tech Republic, talks about it.

Second, I saw today a potential terrorist had his sentencing delayed because warrantless wiretap evidence was used in the trial:

This could be the vehicle to get the FISA laws to the Supreme Court. The guy was obviously harmed by the wiretap and so has standing.
My point is still not that Snowden was a hero, but there are many domestic issues that arise out of the Snowden disclosures that would not have happened absent Snowden.
I would like to also point out that shopping at Amazon through Neo’s doesn’t cost you your life or health – no mad crowds fighting over cheap stuff!
