My son voted for Obama. I asked him why? He told me Obama is a very smart guy. I asked him what kind of grades Obama made in college and he didn’t respond. My son is now unhappy with Obama and I keep asking him if he has bought his Obama care yet.
Duck Dynasty is the next Sarah Palin and Tea Party. They’ll sic all of their guns on them, if the Duck clan does not submit to the gay’s version of correct speech.
The 2 minutes of hate demand it. When the enemies of the Left speaks their mind, that is hate speech. When gays foment violence and burn churches and talk about the non existent humanity of those with different ideas than homosexual validation, gays are using Correct Speech.

It is unpopular speech which needs to be protected.
Three of the world’s great religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam) proscribe homosexual behavior. Adherents of those faiths should be free to express that view.

I can start by saying “It’s wrong on so many levels,” and, again, the operative word here is “start.”

This is gonna go over as well as the Chick-fil-A imbroglio last year. The vocal gay organizations and individuals (whom some internet wits are calling the Gaystapo) will have massive amounts of egg on their faces. Duck Dynasty is hugely popular in flyover country. I’m not a watcher of the show myself – I prefer those high-concept BBC costume dramas, myself – but I know lots of people like them, although most of them do not have ZZ-Top class beards. They are practicing Christians, most of them are rather sweet and earnest about it.
They will dig in their heels, boycott A&E and buy whatever Duck Commander and Duck Dynasty merchandise they can afford – just to show support.
The thing that is being demanded of believing Christians (And Jews and Muslims, let me add) is not really tolerance. It is demanded that they approve, rapturously. And if not, the wrath of the Gaystapo falls on them.

Phil Robertson did us a great service. Without malice, indifferently, he simply spoke his mind. It’s a reminder that we should all do that. That’s what free people do.
Robertson’s description of sexual activity between and man and a woman, and between and man and a man, employing all the correct anatomical terms, was much appreciated. It strikes me that the clinical accuracy (along with the preference of one over the other) really gets the gays’ goat.
I’m torn: I really don’t bother going out of my way merely to offend, but at the same time, I confess to loving the clinical accuracy of the description, and the sneaking suspicion that many/most gays prefer to omit the clinically accurate description. Why? (Or am I mistaken?)
It reminds me of the euphemism “pro-choice”. Someone who is “pro-choice” is “pro” choosing to do what, exactly? To choose to have an abortion performed. Okay, and what does an actual abortion actually entail? Let’s get graphic. Let’s delve into possibly squeamish detail. Why the euphemism? Is “pro-choice” *just* an abbreviation, or is it an attempt to mask, to defuse, to paper over, what’s actually taking place?
What does an abortion actually entail? Let’s get clinically accurate, whether it entails crushing the little baby’s head in the mommy’s body — errrmm, crushing the little fetus’ head in the female’s body, or whether it involves administering some sort of saline poison (?*) to ashphyxiate the little baby — errrmm, to terminate the unwanted fetus. And so on.
It’s calling a spade a spade. Is calling clinically accurate spades such as these, spades, somehow offensive or at least uncomfortable for the gaystapo or the abortion mill sympathizers? If not, why the euphemisms?

I had my cable disconnected last November, so I’ve never watched Duck Dynasty.
The Left is certainly showing their true colors here. Anybody who expresses an opinion contrary to the Official Truth must be destroyed.
These people are not Americans in any way, shape, or form. They are the enemy. They are TWANLOC: Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen, as Subotai Bahadur says.
There is no way for free people to share a country with totalitarian Leftists. There is nothing to compromise about. Either we are free to speak our minds and live our lives as we see fit (for example, the Christian baker) or we submit completely to the Leftist agenda. They certainly make no bones about it. They demand nothing short of unconditional surrender.
I do not see any way past this impasse that does not involve extreme violence and bloodshed. Either ours or theirs, and probably both.
I would also add that homosexuality and other forms of deviant behavior can be tolerated in a comfortable and affluent society. But once the economy collapses and millions of people are hungry, cold, frightened, and desperate, it will not be.
Re: The Duck Dynasty PC flap.
The left is overly concerned with my thoughts and speech; the right is overly concerned with my sex life.
It seems to me that neither side truly understands “just leave me the f&ck alone.”

What I am concerned with is who, left or right, lusts to use the power of DC to restrict my speech or sexual choices. And, I am ultimately concerned about who wants to point a gun at me and mine to pick our pockets.
The Left is actually incredibly concerned about people’s sex lives.
Planned Parenthood is a for profit organization based upon the consequences of sex and nullifying it.
Leftist psychologists have successfully implanted memories of false rape and child abuse in their subjects by merely talking to them via hypnotic methods. Most of these techniques have been weaponized and are now used by school counselors and administrators in college to foment “sexual equality”.
So between the choice of religious people preaching to me that sex outside marriage is bad, and being brain Fed by the Left into remembering sexual torture that never existed so I can hate the patriarchy… which one do you think I would choose?
Also, since it seems people need a reminder, the Left are indoctrinating children in public schools to accept gay behavior, to the point where they forced two girls on a public stage to kiss each other.
They are producing homosexual and homoerotic material for pre teens to digest and condition themselves to like. This is known as pre-conditioning to NAMBLA, to get children to be trained for sex or to justify having sex with children.
Yet people are still under the leftist indoctrination that we care more about controlling people’s sex lives?
They need to re do the Propaganda 101 class, again.
I grew up surrounded by men like Phil Robertson. These men were rooted in their faith and fiercely independent. If either A&E or GLADD believe that they can coerce or intimidate Mr. Robertson they are glaringly stupid.
And, perhaps in this media storm someone somewhere will read what Mr. Robertson said and perhaps pause to reflect on their own life. At the possibility of that happening I can imagine Mr. Robertson will believe his mission accomplished and he would be Happy, Happy, Happy.
The Leftist alliance of so many irrationally incompatible groups, need there to be homophobes and haters. They need the existence of such people. Because if they do not have them, they cannot compel the obedience of the Lesbian, Gay, Transexual, etc crowd.
I mean, why would such people give up their individuality for slavery and obedience to the Authority of the left, if there were no homophobes? If there were no people who hated them?
Just as the case is with the Palestinians, they need external enemies or else the Left’s power fades away on the morning breeze.
If gays and lesbians do no suffer, the Left cannot control them. Thus, they will be made to suffer or else.
