Hey, let’s have more government involvement in health care — 7 Comments

  1. The Dems’ cure for the current catastrophe is, natch, Single Payer. True socialized medicine like Europe and Canada. How about NO MORE DEMOCRAT SOLUTIONS??!!

  2. Yes. To reshape to his liking and use.

I have been saying from day one that this new act of enslavement never had anything to do with “health” or “care”, unless to make health worse and care less.

Obama ids a tyrant. Democrats are tyrants. Tyrannos delenda est.

  3. Limited, rare, health resources like rejuvenation therapies and limb regeneration, will be only reserved for those of a certain political loyalty index. The rest, will merely have to suffer what they may given limited supplies of the good stuff.

  4. The tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots. Good and evil must die on the same battlefield, for never will we figure out what the right path is, until we know first which one is the stronger.

  5. Neo & friends, if you haven’t read it, you may want to look into Peter Schweizer’s book “Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets.”

He lays it out in mind-boggling detail, with footnotes. E.g.:

Obama’s “Protection Money”: how the Obama administration targets industries for criminal investigations, but chooses not to pursue key political donors

John Boehner’s “Tollbooth”: How the Speaker of the House extracts money by soliciting political donations before he will hold crucial votes on the House floor

The “Slush Fund”: How politicians of both parties extract “campaign contributions” and then convert them to bankroll lavish lifestyles, complete with limos, private jets, golf at five-star resorts, fine wines, and cash/jobs for family members

Capitol Hill’s “Underground Economy”: How members of Congress use a little-known loophole that allows them to secretly link their votes to cash

AND MUCH MORE. He’s a conservative himself, but he doesn’t spare the Republican members of the “Permanent Political Class.” He likens the show of antagonism on the Senate and House floors to the antics of the professional “wrestlers” in the WWE.

He quotes a lot of executives (former; no longer in fear for their jobs) who tell him straight up that they are routinely shaken down by pols, of both parties; that the two parties are basically using each other to fund-raise (Hey! I’ll protect you against Those Guys!); and how completely entrenched the Govt. Protection Racket has become.

I’ll tell you one damn thing: you’ll no longer be baffled about why the Institutional Republicans don’t care a whit about winning the culture war. Think about it: if they win, why would we need to send THEM money?

The Leftwing he excoriates roundly: he’s got chapter and verse on their crooked shenanigans.

  6. Given that Communist control of key American sectors had already been obtained by at least 1930, it’s not surprising that we see what we see at DC. If the corruption only started in the last few decades, then there might still be some hope for Republicans, a generation untouched by the Left.

But given the time involved, it’s not surprising that the system has decayed to the point where it is. After all, they grew up in this system. It is natural to them. There has never been a time when the System Has Not Been Like This in their life then.

Thus the Left normalizes evil and anyone against it, is seen as the enemy. The real enemy.
