The real Koch brothers

On the real Koch brothers:

For the Kochs the real power is central government, which can tax entire industries into oblivion, force a citizen to buy health insurance and bring mighty corporations like Koch Industries to heel.

“Most power is power to coerce somebody,” says Charles, in a voice that sounds like Jimmy Stewart with a Kansas twang. “We don’t have the power to coerce anybody.”

The Koch brothers are the best of America, in that they live it’s ethos. They also contribute to the science programs I love on Cable TV. I am deeply grateful for both.

    Longue vie au Koch frères!

Compared to unions, the crony corporations, and the banksters the Koch brothers are minor league players in politics. Its wonderful to see Harry Reid and the usual suspects get their panties twisted over the Koch brothers.

I disagree Parker. To Harry and the usual suspects, the end always justifies the means to reach it. One only has to look at the IRS scandal to see that most of our liberal friends have given up any pretext of Principles a long time ago. Just yesterday an attempt was made in Congress to state that The president should follow the rules. Only 8 principled Democrats voted for this bill. The other 188 voted the Party line. Also Harry Reid said it was DOA and our “Principled” president said he would veto it. At what point do the wheels come off the bus?

i think the koch brothers need to take all their money and their idiot-unlogical ideas go buy their own country and get out of ours if they do not like it. take all their crazy parinoid friends with them. they will never own or control this country.

About Me

Previously a lifelong Democrat, born in New York and living in New England, surrounded by liberals on all sides, I've found myself slowly but surely leaving the fold and becoming that dread thing: a neocon.
