Russian markets… — 20 Comments

  1. Right now, as evil and rotten as he is, Putin is one of the best tings going for America.

This is because Obama is without doubt the worst thing that ever happened to America. Scratch that. The people who voted for him twice are without doubt the worst thing that ever happened to America. They are not even Americans in a spiritual sense. They are ingrates and takers who add nothing and subtract everything. They want everything and give zero.

Obama is their symptom, their runaway disease process raging through he organs of the body politic.

Putin is the poison that can stop the poison. He’s like Chemotherapy for Liberalism. It’s not pleasant, but the disease is much worse.

The poor Ukrainians. Let’s hope they can hang through it all.

  2. There were reports last week that the Russian government and members of the oligarchy (that is redundant for the most part) were busy calling home their assets in the West. So even this tsk, tsk finger pointing is merely a political gesture; a way for BHO and EU leaders to talk tough while avoiding more dangerous responses such as large scale military aid to Ukraine. I agree with Mike’s post….. as unforunate as this may be for Ukrainians, it certainly makes a sad joke of the noble peace boy king’s reset button and red lines.

  3. Parker’s right. Last week someone foreign withdrew over $100 billion in US bonds from the Fed Reserve. Wall Street Journal economics article

    a) So either these sanctions are too little, too late, which is plain pitiful, or
    b) Someone held off long enough in making the sanctions decision until these foreign investors got their funds clear, which isn’t any better.

  4. Putin could invade Florida and Obama’s response would still be about the same.

  5. Putin is ultimately a masculine man who stands in striking contrast to our jug-eared POTUS with his well-creased trousers, his daily baths, his “son who would look like Trayvon,” his Biden and his Kerry, standing shoulder to shoulder with the other wimps and weenies that bully their little people with their socialisms and constitute his “International Community”.

  6. Don Carlos,

So you’re saying that real men eat blini and borscht not Wagyu beef and Arugula.

  7. In that case Obama is a real man. Let’s not underestimate him. He did what he said. He’s as real as a heart attack. As real as a Caesar.

  8. mike-
we are not talking about Baraq v. the sheeple here, but about Baraq v. Vlad.

  9. That comment “some prankster” is spot on.

Just imagine if Bush had done this – that is exactly what the news media would be saying; they would be claiming that it sounds like something some “frat boys” thought up.

It also reminds me of Al Sharpton (at least I think it was him, or it may have been Jesse Jackson?) several years ago in response to something he was “outraged” over said: “We don’t know who yet, but, we will be boycotting someone over this.”

My God, how unimaginative! Yep, let’s boycott someone. Yep, let’s sanction someone. Yep, Let’s tell them off – that will really show them!

These “community organizers” don’t know sh&t about how the real world works.

And the rest of the world pays the price for their stupidity.

  10. “In that case Obama is a real man. Let’s not underestimate him. ”

The idea that evil is a real man and that we need to recognize that or underestimate it is erroneous.

Obama said a lot of things, not even most of it came true.

Speaking out both sides of your mouth is called corrupted adulthood or weakness, not the same as the gender duty of men.

  11. anyone want to go back and see what i wrote about a war and argued with people it will come, because weakness and desease and crazyness ALWAYS attracts hunting predators…

all hunting predators act this way…

Europe and the United States: Pay close attention to what this Putin insider is telling you.
Either roll over or do something.

and i said that the parallels to the 1930s were very very exact as if they were trying to repeat an experiment in a laboratory… (except that the US will play the part of germany, russia will be the great hero again, and the impetus will be misassigned as it was in wwii (molotov rippentrop, whats that?))

    enjoy..

though i will ask one interesting question…

if you know what you know now, what would you have said 6 or more years ago, when i sounded more nutty than now? war with russia, thats crazy…

but then again, to me, crazy is letting opposition train, take technology, upgrade, rearm, and tons more… is crazy… add to it that we as a nation are making the worst mistakes of wwii selected out of actions from eery side… that is, purging the miltary was russia, but were doing it… social justice, that was hitler, but we are doing it…

if you can borrow the best..
why not borrow the worst from all the worst worst?

  12. Most who are going to try to discuss this and the potentials did NOT spend any time as i repeatedly suggested, to take account of the condition of things, not the condition of your imagination of how things are.

being anticipatory in a crowd of reactive distracted peoples is frustrating.

    hey!!!

ever thought that the plane was a purposeful distraction given that our society is trined to look at one thing at a time, and so if russia could do something (Through its terorist network it brags about) then it could give the excuse for people to be too distracted to pay attention to the invasion of poland.

    does anyone remember this word?
    Anschluss

    how about this date?
    March 1938

Sept. 30, 1938 | Hitler Granted the Sudentenland by Britain, France and Italy
    http://learning.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/30/sept-30-1938-hitler-granted-the-sudentenland-by-britain-france-and-italy/

In the early hours of Sept. 30, 1938, leaders of Nazi Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy signed an agreement that allowed the Nazis to annex the Sudetenland, a region of Czechoslovakia that was home to many ethnic Germans.

Nazi Fuhrer Adolf Hitler had threatened to take the Sudetenland by force. The Czechoslovakian government resisted, but its allies Britain and France, determined to avoid war at all costs, were willing to negotiate with Hitler. On Sept. 29, Hitler met in Munich with Prime Ministers Neville Chamberlain of Britain, Edouard Daladier of France and Benito Mussolini of Italy to reach a final settlement.

Czechoslovakian leaders were not included in the talks, having been given a choice by Britain and France: accept the terms or resist the Nazis on their own.

The Times also reported: “Mr. Chamberlain met a great demonstration when he arrived in London, and a similar one was accorded to Premier Daladier when he reached Paris.” The British prime minister famously declared in a Sept. 30 speech that the agreement ensured “peace for our time.”

Winston Churchill, Britain’s prime minister and a critic of Chamberlain during World War II, proved prescient in a speech before the House of Commons when he declared, “You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war.”

  13. Training girls into new identities of “leadership” and “power” to serve socialist worldviews

The BDM was founded in 1930 for 10-year-old girls, with membership becoming compulsory in 1936. Its goals were to reinforce traditional roles for women but also to extend them beyond home and family to serve the state. The leader of the BDM had to be unmarried; one was an open lesbian. The BDM yearbook, Madel — eure Welt, describes Hitler’s ideal girl, who could have been written by the Girl Scout’s marketing team:
Our volk need a generation of girls which is healthy in body and mind, sure and decisive, proudly and confidently going forward… free of sentimental and rapturous emotions… Such girls will then, by necessity, carry the values of National Socialism into the next generation as the mental bulwark of our people.

  14. Ymsarker,

Therefore, all tyrants are “women”, not real men? Please. That is degrading to the people they oppressed and crushed and worse.

A bad man is still a man. Obama is a bad man.

By calling him a joke or a woman we really only telegraph how afraid we are of him. We can dismiss him with a laugh and a cutting barb.

If it were that easy…..You know the rest.

  15. The next logical step is invasion in the rest of Ukraine, and if nothing really serious would happen after that, invasion of Poland or Lithuania. Putin follows closely Hitler’s playbook. Prepare for WW3. This is the only way to prevent it.

  16. Therefore, all tyrants are “women”, not real men? Please.

Women are not males who promise things they cannot fulfill.

You’re on a different multiverse there and need to come back to Real Space.

  17. A bad man is still a man. Obama is a bad man.

You don’t even understand what the Left has destroyed, when speaking that line.

A “man” is a status title, like leader or President. To provide people qualifications without the competence, is to create a regime of terror over the United States by fealty and imprint, rather than misguided behavior.

The next logical step is invasion in the rest of Ukraine, and if nothing really serious would happen after that, invasion of Poland or Lithuania.

An invasion like that of Georgia, which was a test case created by manufactured violence in order to fabricate justifications. A test case for a weakened Bush that is executed during a Totalitarian Hussein.
