Does anyone really doubt… — 17 Comments

  1. Considering all of their tweeted threats, no.

Obama says we’re not at war with ISIS. Meanwhile, ISIS is announcing they will fly their flag at the White House, tweeting photos of US buildings with handheld signs in the foreground identifying them as targets, and encouraging their members to post images of their own 9/11-inspired attack art.

  2. I read somewhere that there are 100 US and 1,000 European citizens fighting with ISIS. You would have to be an idiot to think ISIS wouldn’t send them home to terrorize us. I also read that 40 Kosovo natives were arrested this week returning home from fighting with ISIS.

  3. A hard rain must fall before we, the west, will decide to do what must be done. There is only one path if civilization is to triumph over the barbarian horde of islam. We are not (yet hopefully) at the point where we do what must be done. Sometime in the not too distsnt future there will be an unequivocal choice: rub them out or submit to allah.

  4. The under-reporting of the threat posed by Political Islam has been a reality for a long time. I don’t think there is a better term than Andy Mc Carthy’s, Willful Blindness, to describe our overwhelming ignorance.

  5. Looking to cross? If I had to lay money on it, my guess is they got the shipping manifesto as soon as Zero signed off on the invasion, through his back channel embassy staff. They are here.

  6. BO allowed the head of ISIS out of detention (Camp Bucca).

    He released him in 2009.

    BO gave him freedom.

Is it possible that BO was fully unaware of the man’s capacity? Or even slightly unaware? Or anywhere in between? Is it possible?

    The head of the JV?

Then (when released) the head of the JV said “See you in New York.”

BO is not dancing the night away. He is dancing on a grave.

His immaturity is his essence, and the essence of the Left.

The shield of megalomaniacs, lunatics, gas-lighters and Leftists, is “you cannot prove it.”

    True.

But as in any relationship, you look at acts, not words.

BO’s release of the man who could see us in New York is sufficient in itself.

I feel no shame in thinking I know why.

  7. Tonawanda:

It has been claimed that al Baghdadi was released by Obama, but I’ve never seen any credible confirmation of that. What I have read is that he was released from US custody in 2004. See this.

  8. Neo @ 8:22 – –

That is an interesting article which makes me retract what I said, not because I think it (the article) is true, but because it has plausible claims.

  9. Was the ISIS guy released by BO?

    Hard to know.

The guy quoted in this article was the same guy cited in the article cited by Neo. In the article cited by Neo the guy said he was 99% sure it was the ISIS guy.

If the issue is whether BO was responsible for releasing the guy, the Post article says the ISIS was not the worst of those released. To my mind, that does not mean BO did not know how dangerous he was.

I do not regard a defense department spokesman as presumably credible but neither should I regard the person who alleges personal knowledge and 99% certainty as credible.

I don’t know if Politifact has a bias but that is irrelevant.

Better to be careful and I apologize for making grand overstatements.

  10. ISIS is already here. To think they are not denies the reality of their unrelenting lifetime commitment to jihad across the generations.

Our government designees for “protecting the People” may have been asleep at the switch or neutered by higher authority but the end result is the same: underestimating the single-minded focus of bloodthirsty trained-from-the-cradle jihadists to achieve their medieval goals. Now that their unrestrained take-no-prisoners methods have led to successes not even imagined just 5 years ago, legions more jihadists from around the world smell the possibility of victory and rush in to press the battle. Our open border is a great convenience to them and our Presidential Immigration Policy (PIMP) aids and abets their entry and assimilation/disappearance. All at American taxpayer expense, of course.

The apathy exhibited by the President toward this clear and present danger is more than tone-deaf, it is at the least an abdication of responsibility, at worst, treason.

The cold, hard truth has a way of intruding on the most well-crafted obfuscation. The President can ignore the growing fear for so long before public outcry demands the Trojan Horse policy for immigration be rolled back and the border sealed. A single terror event tied to a recent Muslim radical border-crosser should do the trick.

Maybe now the tide will turn toward a broader societal acknowledgement that evil exists, and that incorrigible badness cannot be negotiated with and must be killed. ISIS exemplifies these two points spectacularly.

  11. Mike F–I agree with you 100%. This President is in violation of his sworn oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. There is a reason history needed to take a backseat to “Social Studies” in school. The Gramscian march has seen to this debacle of a presidency.

  12. Nope, N-Neocon, I don’t doubt it one tiny bit. But, at least the Boy King has Americans aiding the Ukraine in building a border fence to slow the Rooskies down!!

CANNOT possibly make this S**T Up!!
