Other cases of killings by police that have been ignored — 26 Comments

  1. The problem as, always, is the Left. Find the MSewerMedia, and the Black Overseers, then get rid of them. Half of the problem will be solved right then and there.

  2. It was mostly likely an instance of mistaken perception by a jumpy officer–a woman, by the way–who killed a 17-year-old whose only crime appears to have been answering the door with a Wii remote controller in his hand

it’s suspiciously difficult to find any hard data about the performance of female cops. Not as hard as finding the study showing New Jersey state troopers aren’t racist, but still pretty hard to find….

It seems that female officers compensate for a lack of strength with “other” abilities, such as cooperation, empathy and intuition.

There are lots of passing references to “studies” of uncertain provenance, but which always sound uncannily like a press release from the Feminist Majority Foundation.

The anonymous “studies” about female officers invariably demonstrate that women make excellent cops ? even better cops than men! One such study cited an episode of “She’s the Sheriff,” starring Suzanne Somers

you can go online and download quite a number of videos of women cops totally beyond their depth trying to do their jobs…

the worst being the grandmother that had to escort the 6.4 280 lb thug to court who overpowered her, grabed her gun, and shot a bunch of people in the court

female law enforcement officers vastly are more likely to shoot civilians than their male counterparts.

this is why you dont hear of white women officers shooting black men… or such… that would then bring into question women on the force, and the target of oppressors is, drumroll please, white men

According to Lott’s analysis, each 1 percent increase in the number of white female officers in a police force increases the number of shootings of civilians by 2.7 percent.

so, lower the standards, and lets have at it…

since women have entered the force, their safety has been paramount over that of the civilians. this is the major reason why police changed. lower standards and the idea that police should not get hurt doing their jobs… so… ever since then, its been more military like with the focus on quick fast, gulag archipeligo techniques (black masks, no identifiers, flash grenades, doing it very early in the dark, etc)

female officers were found to have 32 percent to 56 percent less upper body strength and 18 percent to 45 percent less lower body strength than male officers — Frank J. Landy, “Alternatives to Chronological Age in Determining Standards of Suitability for Public Safety Jobs,” Technical Report, Vol. 1, Jan. 31, 1992

  3. A former Orange, Texas cop is currently trying to force the Orange Police Department to give him his job back, while at the same time, a Police Officer who worked with him wants him charged in killing the unarmed man. Plus, other officers say the investigation was rigged and falsified which led to the first grand jury handing down a no-bill. This police officer in question is Robert Arnold. Arnold (who is black) shot and killed James Whitehead (who is white). Whitehead was unarmed and sitting in his truck when he was shot. Witnesses say that Whitehead was shot in cold blood by Arnold after Whitehead used a racial slur.

    Whitehead was a marine…

Arnold once punched a young teenage girl in the face and tried to hit a man with a metal pipe but missed and instead broke his fellow police officer’s leg. The Police Chief went on to say that Arnold should have let the man get in his truck and leave and the Police Chief even said that Arnold could not have possibly felt physically threatened by Whitehead.

  4. Here are two cases n Fairfax County, Virginia and one in Alexandria. Circumstances varied widely but crimes were involved in each case. Each likely would have turned into a Michael Brown situation had they occurred in Ferguson.

2006. Police were in the process of busting a bookie. Officer was suspended for three weeks and removed from SWAT. He probably is black; the victim was white:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/01/12/AR2011011205758.html

2009. Bi-polar former Green Beret committed petty theft. Policeman mistakenly believed man’s vehicle was stolen. Officer was dismissed from FCPD:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/fairfax-police-officer-fired-for-role-in-david-masters-killing/2011/06/28/AGNsyppH_story.html

2006. Kids driving away from IHOP w/o paying their bill. Officer said car was moving toward him. I believe he is still on the force. He is black and the victim was white:

  5. Yes, as I have asked in a couple of different fora – including this one, I think – if a black man is shot in the ghetto, is he only dead if the shooter is a white man?

  6. Sgt. Mom:

He’s every bit as dead, but he’s only important to his family and friends.

  7. As a way to smack down Democrat propagandists, ask them where they were protesting when Ruby Ridge and WACO massacres occurred.

  8. That should be your go to defense when they say “conservatives are hypocrites, you want limited government but like Ferguson’s police force”.

Well whether you like Ferguson or not isn’t the point, need to put them in their place. And the place of Democrats is not morally over us, btw.

  9. Our police have their jerks [*not* referring to Darren Wilson or any individual policeman], and our military has their jerks [analogous disclaimer]. But I contemplate the following . . .

Our police are all that stand between me and the murderous, white-hating *mob* of thugs, rapists, and other assorted mammalian debris.

Our military are all that stand between me and the seventh-century bloodthirsty savages who’d behead me and my family and use our heads as soccer balls.

Yes, we can make both our police and our military better. Yes, we do need to eliminate the jerks, the sooner the better. But I contemplate the following . . .

[loop back and repeat as necessary].

  10. I would suggest that in a sense Brown is a victim of the gang banger mentality that motivates the shootings in Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, and others. Likewise his actions were motivated by the sense of entitlement and victimhood that are a result of The Great Society and all of the race hustlers it has spawned. That would include Obama and Holder.

  11. Ymarsakar, 9:39 pm — “MJR better to think about this.”

Well done and certainly worth thinking through.

  12. I once took a class from a great teacher and priest who said that whenever people are emotional in a way that does not fit the facts, they are emotional about something different, an underlying issue, usually a way of looking at things or understanding the world, and that if you don’t address that underlying thing then nothing gets accomplished. I think that is what’s going on in this and similar cases.

The facts are quite easy to see and ascertain — more than 50% of people killed by police are white, for instance. The number one cause of death for black men is homicide, and more than 90% of the time they are killed by other black men. More than half of all black babies conceived are never born.

What people are upset about, I think, is that they KNOW this. They know that despite decades of promises and programs and speeches, the African Americans who have succeeded (and there are many) seem to have pretty much vanished from “black” communities, and the people who are left are poor, desperate, and — many of them — likely to have short lives. Drug abuse, abortion, abandonment by parents, crime, etc., are all constant threats they know and live with. And then when a police officer shoots a person who is not in the middle of a crime, people think with their guts: “We’re not safe anywhere! We can’t even walk down the street!” It’s a last straw kind of thing.

  13. As a way to smack down Democrat propagandists, ask them where they were protesting when Ruby Ridge and WACO massacres occurred.

same place they were when Stalin murdered his own and sold us the grain… and Mao… and Vietnamese boat people… and Bezlan, and on and on..

    mostly celebrating…
i hear they like the party hats…

  14. this isnt by a police officer… so it doesnt “count”

Antonio Smith, 9 years old, was assassinated the other day. He was Chicago’s youngest fatal shooting victim this year. He was shot at least four times and fell in a backyard on the South Side. And when I went out there on 71st and Woodlawn less than 24 hours after he was murdered, here’s what I didn’t see: I didn’t see protesters waving their hands in the air for network TV cameras. I didn’t see the Revs. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson playing their usual roles in the political race card game…

  15. Gail is troubled that “the people who are left are poor, desperate, and – many of them – likely to have short lives.”

All of which misses the mark. They are many things, ignorant, stupid, hostile and disgusting in their personal lives, but surely not desperate. The old poverty thing is BS pure and simple, after $21 Trillion into the War On Poverty. Their short lives are due to their own violence and their own self-neglect and self-abuse, their breeding and child-raising habits.

When you live a Big Lie, the truth will eventually catch up and bite you in the ass pretty hard. These people are not like us and will never be like us. Pretending so won’t make it so.

  16. while not a cop killing:

Bloody riots continue in Ferguson, Mo, after the killing of a black teenager, but all is quiet in Miami after the murder of a visiting rabbi.

Obama is on the case. Eric Holder has been dispatched to the St. Louis suburb to personally take charge of the investigation as to what led to the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, who prior to being shot was caught in the act of strong-arming a convenience store worker. This is on tape and has been broadcast widely.

Dozens of arrests have been made during the nearly two weeks of violent unrest and looting.

Windows have been smashed. Businesses are padlocked. Schools are closed. A city is burning. The president has asked for calm from both sides, from the rioters and from the police, which places those who break the law and those who protect the law on the same footing.

From outside of town in New York, where he doubles as Gotham’s mayor, Al Sharpton quickly got dressed and arrived on the Ferguson scene promptly.

A grand jury is scheduled to begin hearings.

The officer has been identified, but remains in seclusion, perhaps for his safety. We don’t know his side of the story. We don’t know what happened.

That’s for Holder and his 50 lawyers to find out, plus the grand jury, in addition to multiple probes underway from local, county and state authorities.

When a group of Black Panthers intimidated white voters in Philadelphia, Holder saw no reason to intervene or investigate………………..

  17. I have read that female police officers are more likely to use deadly force (i.e., firearms) than male police officers because they do not have the physical strength to subdue violent subjects. Has anyone else heard or read about this?

  19. Gail,
You hit the nail on the head. I was watching the coverage of this and it struck me that the people protesting were not doing so because of the shooting. It is clear that the thug that was shot was headed that way and I am sure his neighbors would likely agree once the emotion is gone. Then this is really not a black/white issue. The cop was white but time will tell that his shooting was justified and the people who are protesting know this. So why are people protesting? I think it has to do with the total, complete failure of the first black president and the total let down by the Democrat party. Some clues to this. The neighborhood is over represented by white people. This is associated with a black voter turnout of 6%. Why is this? Likely because the area is represented by the Democrats and the locals do not feel that they need to elect anyone of their race as the politicians have been promising more than a black politician could. The problem is that delivery on a national, state and local stage has not materialized. I did see that giveaways have been instituted to mollify the emotions.
