  1. Ha! i will make my wife jealous im with another woman and she might let me off the couch!!!

  2. “And I tell you that memory of my confrontation with that killer elephant is seared…….seared in me.”

  3. [Sad Sarah McLAchlan ASPCA ad music – “in the arms of an angel, far awaaaay from here, etc.”] The abuse and exploitation of adorable baby elephants goes on every day. Won’t you help save this poor creature from a lifetime of shame and regret and selfies with nitwits? Give today.
[“may you fiiiiiiind, some comfort here.”] Thank you.

  4. Even the elephant knows that selfies are reserved for self-indulgent douchebags.

  5. “Let’s see, if I get this just right and crop out the elephant’s head, I might be able to claim that trunk as part of me…yes…perfect.”

  6. “Who’s the goofy-looking guy in that picture with Dumbo?

  7. Kerry can properly claim that he’s “seen the elephant”

…but, it was only a drone war.

  8. It doesn’t surprise me that Kerry ended up cutting the elephant out of the picture – for so many it is only the “self” that matters.

  9. Elephant: “As I suspected..Nuthin’…Absolutely nuthin’ there!”

  10. Its funny, I drink too much, but yet, my elephants are not pink… why is that?

Its the baby elephants obama phone and i was just helping out with a selfie, and may i take the time to say blah blah blah blah…

Kerry gets into elephant pedophilism, as you see here when he took a selfie with an underage naked baby elephant…

[on another note… i wonder if neo will put up some talk as to people like linda stasi and the left saying no one should be insulting islam, and attacking geller when these same people were behind the national endowments of the arts giving money for things like piss christ… will the national endowment of the arts give money for piss mohamed? what would be wrong in that exercise of liberal american equality?]

  11. Geoffrey Britain:

Lots of clever captions but kaba gets my vote for best of this thread. That is exactly the type of subterfuge that lurch would employ.

    Agreed.

I have a fairly strong dislike for Lurch. Some of that may have to do with my being a NE native, like Lurch, but unlike him, a product all the way of public schooling- and my suspicion that he was able to sidestep his not being all that bright with his private school connections. But you could say the same about Dubya, and I do not dislike Dubya. Unlike Dubya, Lurch and his supporters present Lurch as being oh-so-brilliant when he isn’t. That is one reason for not liking Lurch.

It comes down to politics. Lurch tried to be all things to all people- the thoughtful Vietnam War protestor but also the Naval Officer who did his duty. His 1971 comparison of US soldiers in Vietnam to Genghis Khan only heightened the contradiction.

Lurch’s making nice with the Sandinistas in the 1980s, at a time when I was going in the opposite direction, is another reason for my dislike of Lurch.
