  2. There was a piece in WaPo yesterday about a Maryland prisons garden program for inmates. The guys are taught to plant seeds, care for the plants, watch them, grow, and harvest them. There is a long waiting list of inmates who would like to participate, and the inmates appear to be of different ages. Similar programs are run in other states.

What I found interesting was that many partipants had never seen a seed sprout or a plant grow or eaten something they themselves have produced. They became intested in plants and gardening. Many watch gardening shows on TV. Master Gardeners in some states help them learn.

If you want to talk about the real tragedy in the black community, you must talk about the numbers of kids who grow up knowing nothing about plants or seeds and have no connection to the natural environment. There is nothing they experience that awakens their curiosity about a bigger world. There is nothing they do that gives them a sense of accomplishment. Gardening is just one little piece of this, but it does show where the problem lies for so many kids. This has nothing to do with racist cops. It has very thing to do with not knowing how to raise kids. It has to do with a society that doesn’t do much to have a kid’s eyes grow wide when he experiences something new and unexpected. There is no way the cops can ever fix that.

  3. I should add that the media could do more to awaken wonder in kids and help their parents learn how to foster it.

  4. It is now, and has been for decades, about “narrative”. If the truth does not fit, it will not be reported, reported in part, or just lied about.

  5. expat,

About awakening wonder in children — many inner city schools have things like gardening programs for young kids but I think that, like with Head Start, most of the positive effects of such programs are either lost or weakened as kids age, especially once they hit adolescence.

  6. Shark attacks and Chandra Levy were dominating the news of 2001. I remember it well. Dominating it until the morning of the eleventh of September. Let’s find another way to take a break from a season with not much major news, shall we?

  7. Maybe that’s because the schools are trying to be a substitute for parents. If the parent bond isn’t there, the kids are turned over to their peers as they age.

I think that being incarcerated probably has these guys looking for alternatives. They have already sunk to the bottom.

  8. And the “…purposes of the Obama Administration” are what? I suspect that it is his intention to get most of the police forces in most of America’s major cities to back off as the Baltimore PD has on its law enforcement. This will produce a sharp rise in black crime in those cities and will likely encourage black crime in other cities as well. Once the white population comes to believe – true or not – that their PD will no longer protect them, there will be a surge of vigilante activity, perhaps even groups of vigilantes acting together, directed against blacks across the country. When the chaos is high enough, the President will call off the elections on the basis that blacks are being prevented by the violence from voting or some such excuse. He will then declare martial law or issue some executive order with similar effect and will remain in office until he’s either removed or decides to retire. Paranoid? Maybe, but what other purpose could this “Ferguson Factor” series of events be leading up to? You know that the incidents are entirely made up via the media and hyped to the black community as proof that whites want them all dead. What other purpose could any politician have to encourage chaos and distrust in our social and political institutions? I hope I’m wrong and it’s only being an old, white, retired Army sergeant who has seen too many foreign dictators set themselves up for life that is giving me this nightmare. Indeed, I pray that I am utterly and totally wrong.

  9. Ann, 5:45 pm — “expat, About awakening wonder in children – many inner city schools have things like gardening programs for young kids . . . .”

How long before the inner city kids get accused by their thug peers of acting white? — and there goes all that gardening nurturing down the drain.

  10. Sam L., “I don’t think you can touch them though because you will be involved in a lawsuit”. I loved the part where the woman in the electric cart got out and started to beat the other woman. What was she doing in the cart in the first place?

This reminds me about the late father of a friend who was a judge. The judge had bad legs and needed a walker or help to get around. One day he was trying to get into a cab but fell on the sidewalk and couldn’t get up. The cabby refused to do anything because he was afraid of getting sued. Karma strikes.

  11. The left wants to nationalize all levels of law enforcement. Its deja vu all over again as we have seen this before, about 85 years ago in Germany and ten years before that in the USSR. Millions died to eradicate those scourges. Millions will die to eradicate it once again. This time it will be on home ground. Its the new normal.

  12. This goes back a bit, but I knew a couple of ex-cops, both leaving the profession out of disillusionment.

    1) Neither could believe the staggering stupidity — flamingly low IQ — of the usual perps that they had to deal with.

It was a long way from “Law and Order” the fantasy TV show.

Instead, their beat quickly turned into a routine of picking up the same idiots doing the same illegal — and weirdly stupid — things.

Instead of policing for crime, they’d become mental health quasi-professionals — dealing with player that were using ‘street medication’ — mostly booze — but it could’ve been anything.

The paper work burden for such souls — all in pencil — by hand — became enough to get them to quit.

The harsh fact of policing as an activity is that one gets called to respond to the mentally ill drastically more often than ever portrayed on the fiction screen. And it’s a real turn-off. By its nature, mental illness means weird if not zero responses to queries.

Which results in a real ‘potato-sorting’ decision flux when writing up a ‘bust’ — which is not really a bust when the situation involves weird incoherence and babbling.

This type of behavior is what made skid row, skid row.

And, of course, the poor soul is right back out on the street PDQ… so that the LEO can face the same scribbling exercise all over again.

Crime solving is almost exclusively reserved for detectives.

The result is that noob cops become cynical pretty quickly…

And most are shocked as to how much pressure is ‘on’ to score traffic citations.

For both ex-cops — that latter part was a deal breaker.

One fellow was in a New England resort community — straight off the set of “Jaws” that simply had ZERO CRIME. He was expected to zap the vacation crowd with enough petty citations to put city hall in clover. — He refused — and was edged to the door.

The other fellow became so cynical — about petty police corruption — for starters — that he entered a new career.

Like Priests, they have plenty of stories to tell. You just don’t want to hear them. (!)

  13. I actually live in Texas, in a pretty racially-diverse development. Probably it is skewed to the conservative side, owing to the presence of so many military retirees … but I was just horrified by the initial major media coverage of the McKinney pool-party fiasco. A good many of the neighborhoods around us are ones with a HOA, who have a pool and parkland as part of it all. My daughter worked in high school as a lifeguard at a community pool – and the McKinney thing is absolutely horrific to us both.
Conservative Tree House has done the most extensive coverage and analysis of the whole event, so I won’t go into recapitulating all the ins and outs.
But basically – a nice neighborhood, a couple of degrees more upscale than ours – gets invaded by mob of entitled thugs at a party put on by a free-lance party organizer who tramples heavily over every neighborhood standard … and then the neighbors who object to it all are being doxxed and threatened?
Yeah, this will not end well. I guarantee it.

  14. Expat — good comments.
My 2 cents worth is the media narrative to highlight racism by police is it’s an extension of the racist theme in general, and a secondary agenda to hammer home the idea that reform is needed in our legal system. All for the obvious purpose of creating fear in their traditional base – there’s nothing good to point toward after 8 years of BO, and the left know that fear is all they have to motivate their base and get them to the polls.

The next few years will be more of the same – granny getting pushed off the cliff, police brutality, and the rest of usual nonsense to convince the base that NOT voting will put them in concentration camps, on the street without health care, etc.

  15. Joseph Wambaugh, the cop turned author, once wrote that the life of policemen mostly entails dealing with the dregs of society. After many years of such dealings the average cop becomes jaded and begins to look at most other citizens as possible perps. They have seen it all and it indicates to them that humans can be pretty base. Eventually they become so jaded it becomes very hard for them to interact with other people in normal ways. The time for this to occur varies with the individual, but ten years on the mean streets of a big city is a long time.

If most of the perps you have to deal with are blacks, that’s where your suspicions will naturally turn. Is it racism or just normal value judgments? I know what my judgment would be.
My retired cop friend worked in a area where most of the perps were Latinos. As a result he has the lowest possible regard for Latinos in general.

Let’s face it, the drug trade in the inner cities has become a war zone. The police are not making much headway – as indicated by the very high black on black mayhem. Until the inner cities begin to understand that their problems can only be solved by their own actions, the crime and violence will continue.

The problem as I see it is a general disregard of the law by too many people. Yes, we have too many picayune laws, but an orderly society depends on a vast majority of citizens wanting to obey the laws – not to skirt them at every opportunity. As a kid I was always told that, if I got in trouble at school, I would be in much worse trouble when I got home. And the same applied to getting in trouble with the police. Our police force were two nice men (much like in Mayberry). Their primary job was talking care of the local drunks and issuing the occasional speeding ticket. When they were able to arrest a bank robber without gunplay, we looked at them as protectors and men we admired. That’s a long time ago but I still look at most policemen as doing a difficult and thankless job.

  16. Same thing they did in 2005 Iraq, and people bought it then. They also bought it during Vietnam.

  17. }}} and black parents wanting to raise successful and law-abiding children in the inner city ghettos have a tough road ahead of them with many obstacles along the way.

The biggest issue with this is that the parents in question are idiots, and hence their kids are likely to be idiots, too.

Sorry, we live in AMERICA — more than ANY other nation, we have tremendous mobiiity. If conditions in one place suck — and it’s pretty obvious that this is true for a place like Compton or Cabrini Green — The solution is obvious.

    FUCKING ***MOVE***.

Yes, you have to give up friends. Yes, you have to give up your support network. Yes, you have to go from a place you know and have a “comfort level” with (though it is largely illusory) to a place you have a low comfort level with (because you aren’t familiar with it), but — DO YOU WANT YOUR KIDS FREE OF BAD INFLUENCES? Or is YOUR “comfort” more important to you than the success of your kids.

Simply put — no matter what the hell my situation is — if MY kids were faced with growing up in Compton, Cabrini Green, or ANYPLACE like those, you can bet your ASS I would FIND a way to get my kids out of it and into a better place. You could not get out of my way fast enough.

    And that’s the saddest part.

  18. The point of the radical in the WH is to undermine the social fabric.

Which means undermining, the economy, the police, the military, the language and of course the truth.

An emboldened Russia? China? Iran? Moslem Brotherhood? Well, of course!

A racial civil war? Can’t get much better than that!

File under: How dare Giuliani say I don’t love my country!!!

  19. A lot of what the left does is designed to create disorder into which they can step (it’s what happens in insurgencies)

–The racism meme divides and increases violence.
–The gay marriage meme helps destroy one of societies pillars, natural marriage and sets the stage for polygamy, polyamory etc.
–The war on women meme divides men from women, the young from the old.
–The income inequality meme divides rich from poor, business from employees.

We aren’t going to see these meme’s disappear anytime soon. The conservative elites need to come up with some counter memes.

Discussion here: Art of the painless coup

Don’t know what motivates them at the core. Oé¯kophobia is real.

    They’re restless.
TWANLOC, They never stop, they never tire, they never rest, they never sleep, they never give up.

  21. When I went to LSU, David Duke was attending. We had free speech alley and he made the best of it. Listening to the various speeches and the reactions was very entertaining between classes. But one thing I learned was that the liberal attitude to blacks fit perfect into Duke’s KKK thoughts. He was concerned that with the liberal attitude that the KKK would lose power as the liberal attitude assured that blacks would never be employed, always have a secondary status, not receive adequate education and would basically kill themselves. The KKK could not beat this. All this occurred in the 60’s and his view was correct.

  22. The part of this that is NOT getting out is that the teens were not technically invited… i heard from somneone that lived in the area that described whats being left out and how she was so frustrated about it

one place had a party and it was a pool party
they hired or had a DJ, which is where the trouble started… as the DJ took it upon themselves to tweet to everyone, come one, come all, this is your invite… so lots and lots of technically uninvited people were showing up… these people then bled over getting rowdier and more combative, jumping fences into other yards, going into other pools (both endangering the home owners insurance and ownership), they then hit security, thrown bottles, and so on.

whats now starting to happen is that a contingent of whites is starting to side with the idea that stopping hitler was a mistake, joining islam is good if you want a family and avoid feminisms bs, and that segregation turned out to not be the wrong thing..

are these right? given that the thing that is making them think this way is manufactured (making history), it probably isnt other than such a condition allows someone to manufacture such

At what pressure will the cooker blow?

more passive people are buying guns as they are afraid of the clueless violent racist (but believe otherwise) short sighted dangerous crowd…

Do note that when they discuss crime rate stats they avoid the column of attacks and crimes as perpetrated by more than one… why? cause one class or group tends to attack or rob in groups rather than individuals, while the other tends to be alone – so it reduces the unequal outcome of stats.

but dont worry, they are fixing it.. reports this mornign have come out that they are hiring air traffic controlers by race and avoiding the tests and training as too few of certain groups pass and can earn a living working there..

note that when they did this with a doctor, and kennedy praised how that worked, later on, that doctor was disbarred for killing a few patients.

the question now is… how many plane crashes will be enough to ask the question the left in its Sprachregelung to achieve gliechshaltung is enough to open up (forbidden) dialogue?

  23. s orchestrated towards a political goal: furthering the cause of the left.

that general answer can be expanded to let us know what IS the cause this time?

    Federal police replaces state police

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

    Barack Obama

to read the “argument for public consumption” spravka:
    Obama’s ‘National Security Force?’
    http://www.factcheck.org/2008/11/obamas-national-security-force/

[the above is bs since the full quote says “national” not international, and ‘civilian national”… so its not about the peace corps.

too bad we never discussed the game, and how its played and rather look at things ex post facto in a reactionary way that keeps us hopping from one foot to another and never anticipating because until its known without trimmings, we accept the spravka as valid and have yet to developthe soviet mentality to navigate the lies as norm, and truth as silent result of thinking.

to read what is not the “party line” or Sprachregelung:

Sharpton, the National Action Network chief who has been sounding off most of the week on the death in police custody of Freddie Gray, said: “We need the Justice Department to step in and take over policing in this country. In the 20th century, they had to fight states’ rights to get the right to vote. We’re going to have to fight states’ rights in terms of closing down police cases. Police must be held accountable.”

no mention of the peace corps, eh

“If you’ve heard the term ‘social justice’ bandied about over the course of your life and wondered what it really mean, aside from another way of expressing liberalism, the press conference today by Ms. Mosby, the state attorney, pretty much defines social justice as opposed to real justice,” –Limbaugh

look to the history of soviet occupation and their actions and you will EASILY see what will happen… its just that this method of doing it is acceptable to this nation, while the other way of doing it worked within the framework that they had in the other nations… the end is the same… but if you dont want to study those details, and expect them to have been covered in documentaries and movies, your wont get it…

this is where EXPERIENCE wins over creative imaginative explanations that sound good… one will tell you the answer, the other gives you an answer that sounds good to the ear, but probably is not valid… the latter is the one we are more comforatable with, so we dont want to know the truth.

most cant handle the truth and want to imagine that the line to the final change is farther off than 2017 and the next potentailly great war… who wants to think about that war? only those wishing to do something real to prevent it, and who realize that guessing over things that there is not enough information to make a good guess, is fantasy and fantasy in a cold war is not good enough..

  24. Urban police departments already obey the Left through unions. Hussein and Holder are pushing for a more direct chain of command, which is to say the mafia is going to absorb the unions.

  25. Ike Says: Maybe, but what other purpose could this “Ferguson Factor” series of events be leading up to?

And that is why not knowing the actual history in detail leads to made up answers from nowhere other than pure thinking…

read the whole post at 6:40pm, and its all supposition cut whole cloth from ideas not history which is what they are copying…

ie. the lefts actions are mostly derivative of the past actions they plagiarize

So to know what they are doing, one only looks to what they have done, and/or what they are doing in a small way as a test to a larger repeat in a similar format…

    知彼知己,百戰不殆;不知彼而知己,一勝一負;不知彼,不知己,每戰必殆

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

  26. So, Artfldgr, since you imply that you have a superior knowledge of “history in detail”, please tell us ignorant peasants what is the purpose served by this administration’s actions? I don’t know all of history in all its details, but I know what I saw on the streets in various cities around the world. Please, supplant my ignorant suppositions with your intimate knowledge of history in detail.

  27. Also, leave off the Chinese; I doubt that anyone here can read it. Likewise, paraphrases from “The Art of War” are less than useful. Do, please, share your supreme and detailed knowledge of history with us. But in English if you will, especially for me, in my ignorant state.

  28. So, Artfldgr, since you imply that you have a superior knowledge of “history in detail”

Most of it comes from outside sources like books.

Having a theoretical knowledge concerning politics, human nature, Leftist mind control, tactics, strategy, and logistics is merely that. Abstract concepts. It is different from having real life skills and experience in such human endeavors.

A person with a sufficient time, concentration, and obsessive need to know about theoretical knowledge, can easily obtain it, so long as they are willing to pay the price in today’s world. Even a college professor can read a book and quote to us what it says, after all.

Art’s quality of being extraordinary is not his understanding of any one subject, but his intense focus on reading a lot of different things.

As an example, I cannot imagine survivalists, H2H fighters, and various other “off grid” denizens obeying Authority and relying on the current modern society’s “pension promises”, when I know that they know Armageddon is on the rise in this century, and pretty soon too. They have focused on practical skills and mental conditioning, even though their abstract knowledge base may be inferior to some. So if they ever spoke about the Left’s operations and the Left creating Reichstag fires for emergency rule, they would not be relying on the promises of the Left’s Pension for survival. They would not tolerate Leftists around them. They would not obey the Authority, for knowledge and fear of the Authority.

To know oneself requires the ability to change oneself, else that knowledge is useless. To know others requires the ability to recognize the limits of how much one’s personal power can change others.

  29. Paranoid? Maybe, but what other purpose could this “Ferguson Factor” series of events be leading up to?

Ike, some of us were working on red scenarios and false flag operations since several months before Ft. Hood 1

Personally, I was talking with a mil blogger over at Blackfive, concerning Hussein Obola being an amoral person, such to that extent he might kidnap the families of the US military in order to obtain emergency rule, under the false flag of fighting domestic terrorists (jihadist threats weren’t such a big issue back then, due to Bush II’s endeavours).

So the discussion revolved around how feasible it would be to get a kill team inside a US army base to conduct operations. The milblogger side said that the US base is pretty hardened, so I didn’t have to worry about that. A few months later, Major Hassan conducted his little operation, although he could easily have used his insider status to give access to several truck loads of kill squads from outside, similar to Mumbai.

Personally, I don’t consider a military base protected by individual MPs, with no sidearms for the personnel, “hardened” by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps that’s a difference from living on a military base in the US and a military base in Iraq/Afghanistan, where they are sometimes allowed personal arms.

This trend you have noticed, Ike, has been a long time coming. And it started not in this century, but in the past one, with the Leftist alliance’s full panoply of assets, arsenals, and human brainwashing experiments.

  30. It’s not difficult to extrapolate the right conclusions if you have the correct premises.

I use the a priori conclusion that Hussein Obola, along with his Leftist alliance, were allied with the Islamic Jihad. Therefore, everything that people have seen since, the terrorist attacks, the importation of jihadists and diseases into the US, is consistent with that a priori.

  31. “Benét Embry, a John Tyler High School alum, host of The Benét Embry Radio Show in Dallas and author of “Emotional Response,” lives in the neighborhood of Craig Ranch where police responded to an “out of control pool party.” He spoke exclusively with KETK about what he saw…..Now, my Facebook’s being blown up and I’m being called an “Uncle Tom,” and a “House N*****,” but that’s okay, that’s fine,” Embry said. “People don’t need to base their opinion off of seven minutes of a 30-minute video. Don’t take two or three instances to form your opinion. I keep my fist in the air constantly, but every incident is not a cause to march, especially since this has nothing to do with race. What I’m not going to do is let my emotions override what’s really going on. People need to find out what’s going on, all the way through, then find the appropriate action that needs to be taken. We have other issues that need our attention other than made-up, make-believe causes.” From above link

  32. The social media gangs are expanding their sphere of influence to black “diverse vibrant” neighborhoods. They won’t let the blacks safely off the city plantation any more. The ghetto will come to you, even if you try to run away.

Also security guards that are so weak they cannot control teenagers, so they have to call the police, are pretty pathetic.

  33. Dear media

Stop trying to cover the President’s ineptitude by creating a Birmingham ’63 aura every time there is an incident with blacks who break the law. Most of you will never know what a fight for civil rights really looks like. And I can tell you, it does not look like 2015.

As a professional black person for 45 years, you are not helping black people. You are merely using us to protect yourselves from admitting you are not a fair press.
