i said to ask questions as to things we are avoiding… but you cant get people to ask them, to look at them,and to actually go through the things in front of them.

I do not believe for a second he has changed his mind, or that BO does not share his vision of cleansing America Pol Pot style.
We are getting there more quickly now, it is speeding up.

It’s a good thing that Klemperer recorded events for posterity. But what did he do real-world to counteract the Nazis as soon he recognized at an early, still preventable stage (see the Bookworm post Neo recently linked) that the Nazis were playing the activist game – the only social cultural/political game there is – for keeps?
Klemperer reminds me of our hostess and her commenters who more or less capably diagnose the activist nature of the opposition and activist scope of the present-day situation, but will then limit their solution calls to electoral politics, despite that electoral politics that lack a competitive social activist movement are insufficient to compete in the larger activist game.
I’m guessing that Klemperer voted and not much else of actual impact in the kinetic activist game.
