Murder in Virginia… — 44 Comments

  1. Social law and order diminishes to zero as the Left’s divide and conquer strategy proceeds without a single hindrance in sight.

  2. “Stricter gun control” is the default comment a politician — especially a Democrat — makes after any tragic event that involves a firearm. Last night on Fox News, a news commenter who identifies as a Democrat used the same call in response to runaway black-on-black crime in the inner city. “Background checks at gun shows,” he intoned solemnly as his solution for the problem, despite the fact that background checks are already mandated at gun shows and that very few inner city gunmen acquire their firearms at gun shows. The mantra is automatic; they can’t help it. Same with McAuliffe. What the general public needs to understand is that the operative word is “control” when these politicians talk about stricter gun control.

  3. “We can’t control ourselves so as a solution we are going to control you more tightly.”

  4. Btw, I mentioned before that one way to neutralize the media is to conduct black flag operations, aka false flag, where various disinformation tricks are utilized to instigate terrorists into disliking the target.

  5. An retired FBI profiler on air described the shooter as a “injustice gatherer”. Interesting way of putting it.

  6. My sympathies to family of the victims & their co workers ! Terrible.
The perp is from California & he *selects* a career of working for various news outlets in the
    South…… hmmm *looking for a payday* ????
only lasts a year or so at sites & files racism charges at all the work sites. The tallahasse paper mentions that his lawyer didn t want to comment further on the case because she didn t want to risk jepordizing a *settlement*
He also claims to be gay. professional name is Bryce Williams???? What did he want to be mistaken for Brian Williams !
Race hustlers doing shake downs (Sharpton & before him Jackson) have to lay claim to this IMHO. The ole *shake down * has filtered down to the working peons .

  7. Can we even absorb what this says about the way media access distorts values and behavior? We always understood that 7-11 clerks were at high risk for armed thugs. The astonishment is that fiction/reality distortions intentionally played out every day in our media have come home to roost inside media itself, live and in color. Perhaps now we can at least reign in reporters to absolutely refrain from giving deranged killers their minutes of fame. I’m not saying that was going to deter this Bryce Williams, but it might give the next killer second thoughts. May healing graces come to the survivor and the loved ones of the victims, and may the deceased victims be met with God’s peace and affirmation.

  8. I was able to watch his video before YT deleted it.

The video doesn’t show the entire shooting. He first walks up to the victims and then actually points the pistol at the reporter for 5-6 seconds. They never notice him because they are completely absorbed in the interview. He then withdraws the weapon and waits another 18 seconds before he starts firing. Eight shots and 4 seconds later the picture goes to black but the audio continues. He fires 7 more times, probably emptying the clip.

He was fired from the station 2.5 years ago, so this wasn’t a quick reaction. According to his manifesto the Charleston shooting was the tipping point.

  9. Journalists are like Hollywood actors and LEOs. They Obey their Orders, which is why many of the Left’s top agents live with bodyguards at their homes.

They Obey their Orders, and if they are told to cover up for PProfit and Islam, they will. No matter what happens to the rest of you peasants.

  10. According to his manifesto the Charleston shooting was the tipping point.

That’s what his puppet masters may have ordered him to write, at least.

Jackson and Sharpton were never satisfied with the Charleston rejection of the Rainbow coalition Family dues.

They were always going to get some revenge, someway. Of course, legally speaking, that doesn’t really mean anything, even in terms of accusation.

False flag ops are like that, in many ways. Disinformation is the greatest weapon of mass deception in the world, greater even than WMDs because it can be used to kill a lot more people with no negative consequence.

  11. It’s all the fault of those evil guns. Liberals know that guns commit lots of violence. I live in Fairfax, Virginia and when the Governor spoke about gun violence I asked myself if he was really that stupid or that dishonest and concluded the answer is yes.

  12. George, Ymarsakar:

I guess he admired the Charleston shooting so much he decided to emulate it.

  13. With an administration that is bent on stirring up racial hostility it is hardly surprising that the lawless and mentally unbalanced segment of society now convinced that whites are oppressing them is turning to violence. Black on white and Asian crime has increased enormously under Obama ‘the healer of racism’. At least I wasn’t stupid enough to vote for the poseur.

  14. Ugh. There was a similar shooting in San Antonio some years ago – not involving a TV station, though. An employee of a local realty firm located not far from my house – a black man, married and seemingly a responsible citizen – developed a rather horrible, simmering resentment against two of the female realtors (both white). The only theory that anyone could come up with after it happened was that one of the women apparently had said something about the man’s family which she meant as complimentary, but which he took as an insult.

He simmered and simmered about it, got even more hostile, and one day came to work, shot two of his co-workers, wounded a couple of others, drove away, and while everyone hunted for him and tried to figure out why – drove his car off onto the highway median strip and shot himself.

  15. Now if we could come up with another gun control law that would require all the thugs in street gangs, the mafia, and the drug cartels to undergo background checks we would all sleep better at night.

  16. What a bunch of weaklings. The one common strand is that they feel so much guilt or fear of social pressure, that not only violate social rules but then turn around and try to kill themselves due to the pressure.

This is truly the bottom 20% of human trash, all right.

  17. Parker, that wouldn’t change anything, since ATF and the powers that be would just sell them more guns.

  18. Elliott said:

“An retired FBI profiler on air described the shooter as a ‘injustice gatherer’. Interesting way of putting it.”

A related thought. There is no innocent or justifiable reason to talk about words or thoughts as violence.

This goes on every day now in America. To pick just one example, look at how the #BlackLivesMatter crowd reacts to the response that all lives matter. They describe it as a violent response.

That’s just one example, the immediate one that comes to hand.

There is only one reason to to that. To justify actual violence in response to words or thoughts you don’t like.

Oh, another example. Ben Shapiro was on a TV show with some cross dresser. Despite the fact the other person was dressed as a woman, Shapiro insisted on calling him “sir.”

Eventually the cross dresser put his hands on Shapiro and threatened to send him to a hospital in an ambulance.

And the leftists cheered. Because “misgendering” someone is violence. So if you call someone sir because that someone has XY chromosomes = ambulance. Or, in this guy’s case, coroner.

    Injustice gatherers indeed.

  19. They’re sub human insects. Crush them when you feel like it, it matters not.

Guilt is for weaklings talking about a Western inheritance of freedom they got from somebody else’s conquest.

  20. And the leftists cheered. Because “misgendering” someone is violence. So if you call someone sir because that someone has XY chromosomes = ambulance. Or, in this guy’s case, coroner.

Violence is a spectrum but there are also two types. Verbal and physical.

Verbal violence was generally classified as fighting words or insults that could be challenged using physical escalation. Dueling and honor codes were part of it.

Islam considers insults to Mohammed as part of this spectrum and so does the Left.

Only decadent Westerners (and pacifist religions) that believe in classical freedom, somehow think that violence is bad and that verbal violence should never escalate to physical violence. Older, more ancient, societies think otherwise.

  21. Rachelle, 3:09 pm — “With an administration that is bent on stirring up racial hostility it is hardly surprising that the lawless and mentally unbalanced segment of society now convinced that whites are oppressing them is turning to violence.”

H#ll, no one is going to accuse *this* administration of anything like *that*. [end sarcasm]

Why, when that nut case shot Gabby Giffords a few years ago, was anyone so stoopid as to blame Sarah Palin, or the little targets her people placed on voting precincts?? Nahhhh, no one could ever be *that* stoopid. Or evil.

    Never.

  22. Apparently this guy grew up in Oakland but in a middle-class area – the Oakland Hills. He also went to San Francisco State. When I read that this morning in our local Bay Area online newspaper, SF Gate, I immediately couldn’t help but think about how SF State is well known as being an extreme leftist school which was instrumental in the founding of ethnic studies programs in 1969 after an intense student strike. These are ethnic studies that slant way left and were founded after something called the Third World Liberation Strike. I think he took broadcasting there but the atmosphere on that campus is certainly far leftist with an emphasis on racial grievance politics and “social justice” politics. So… while I think this person has mental health issues, obviously, he is also a fruit of that system at least, in part. Here from another source: http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Bryce-Williams-Vester-Flanagan-Killed-Virginia-Oakland-San-Francisco-Ties-322967061.html

    Such a horrific sad crime.

  23. While the shooter clearly had mental issues, I think this can be laid at the feet of the racial grievance atmosphere that has been stoked by government, academia, and yes, the media. They constantly teach that only whites can be racist and anything bad that happens to minorities is the fault of white racism. This kind of atmosphere can certainly lead to people with mental problems acting out on them. Heaven forbid that minorities should actually take responsibility for their own individual failings.

The murderer wrote that he was provoked by the Charleston shootings. He apparently never heard the saying, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”

He also tweeted earlier that Alison Parker had made racist remarks. I call BS on that. A young white woman fresh out of the PC environment of college is probably the least likely person to make racist statements. He was primed to see and hear racism everywhere, and he is not alone among members of his race. Nobody is more obsessed with race than American blacks.

I was at work today while this was unfolding, so I didn’t have an opportunity to seek out the videos until I got home. For those who are interested, here are two good links the last time I looked.

    The live TV coverage:
    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=518_1440595069

    The shooter’s GoPro video:
    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=225_1440602498

Both are disturbing, but they are not gory in the Hollywood sense. I didn’t see any blood. Probably the most upsetting part for me was the expression on Parker’s face when she was shot, which reminded me of the famous photo of Lee Harvey Oswald as he was shot by Jack Ruby.

  24. Oakland contributes a significant portion percentage wise to Californian murder, crimes, and gun crimes.

The Californian political class likes to blame it all on Republicans and lack of gun control, of course. Half the actual crimes might even be covered up by the police on the orders of their Democrat bosses. To make themselves look good on election day.

  25. People maybe wondered at what I was talking about, with my phrases claiming or stating “death and rape squads” some odd years ago.

Where would they come from, people probably wondered.

Maybe if they had enough imagination back then they could have answered their own question. Now a days… now a days, you don’t even need imagination. You just need to open those eyes.

It’s obvious where they come from. It’s obvious. Even to retarded village idiots, it should be obvious by now. Isn’t it obvious by now.

  26. Btw that second video is education and maybe something else.

Look at how many shots he fired, down the video camera, and see how many seconds the target had to run. Away that is.

It’s very easy for people to understand counters if you show them the attack angle like that. The gun also kicks to the left, making the user adjust it every shot. That’s a little bit different per gun.

Situational awareness, though, it was no joke back when they gave defense lectures about it. Your body has plenty of time to counter the attack angle wise. But not if your brain freezes trying to figure out what’s going on.

  27. Thinking about the endless media coverage of the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown incidents, I wonder if it will be mandatory to keep mentioning over and over and over again that “a black gunman shot and killed two unarmed white reporters”.

  28. A black out of the ghetto that declares himself homo, is one F ed up specimen. He has been completely indoctrinated into the Leftist death cult dogma and doctrine. Being rejected by his community or the comrades he thought he would get in good with, must have been quite a shock.

2.5 years? 2 and half years trying to find some way to carry out his religious duties the Left programmed him with and failing, of course. Even Jihadists can’t withstand that kind of hell before they explode Ft Hood wise.

  29. One time some blacks were out on the street in front of here, doing whatever. Two cars, 3 people outside, one working on something. So I peeked around the corner past some trees, so I could see what was up, they were out there for quite some time, during my practice drills.

So I kept popping my head out the trees some to check, and there was one black male giving me the evil eye, as if I was some hated or dreaded enemy.

These Democrats targets with signs on their head, would get terminated on the streets of Chicago or Detroit, if they looked at the wrong gang leader in that fashion. They don’t come from ghettoes, they come from Democrat shitard zones, what I call plantations and fiefdoms.

They don’t know their place, so they think it’s racism or something all around them.

The point is, that kind of obvious hostility in an area they weren’t familiar with, is more likely to get them all capped by certain types of people, than whatever racist bs they think they have to deal with.

If I was as insane as some people thought, things might have turned out quite differently, because that was a diss. That was disrespect, in public, on my territory, with witnesses. That requires blood to settle in the urban jungles, one way or another. Good thing we all live in the Decadent West that we can cast hate out our eyes, eh?

Up until somebody gets capped in the face, hah.

  30. So, I wonder if this is how race wars get started. First it’s mentally disturbed people like Dylann Roof and Vester Flanagan acting out their prejudices, and then as these incidents become more commonplace, nominally sane people join in.

There are already videos of “knockout games” and “polar bear hunts” on YouTube. It sounds to me like GoPro videos of murders are a natural for copycats.

  31. What I NEED to know is how did this murderer know where and when that story was going to be done?

Prediction: He somehow retained access to the TV station’s computer and could see the assignments in advance.

The families of the dead are limited to a work comp claim, but this detail might mean a third party would be on the liability hook. Speculation by me. WC money not enough for this loss.

  32. acting out their prejudices, and then as these incidents become more commonplace, nominally sane people join in.

I would call it engineered demolition. Oath keepers or whatever their org is called, were on the rooftops of buildings in Ferguson, keeping the property of homes and businesses safe. The Ferguson police targeted them as domestic terrorists of course, while they “let the rioting and looting happen” per their Democrat orders.

Generally, it’s conducted using mind control. Islamic Jihad uses a similar function with suicide bombers. They set up retarded fools, strap a bomb on em, and then have them to drive to point A, then they hit Detonate. Sayonarra.

The propaganda is used to “trigger” death squads and killers, while the leadership is provided on top by Jackson and other mob organizers like Sharpton. Sharpton has gotten more than one person killed via his instigation of the black mob and black panthers.

This stuff has always been happening, whether by the KKK or the Black Panthers. The internet has merely ensured that the media could no longer cover it up or bullsh paper it over with a filter.

These days, in 4th gen asymmetrical warfare, even if you had justification to use lethal force in defense of whatever rights you think you can uphold from fed gov evil, you still need a shat load of evidence. More than enough to ensure that you can’t be Zimmermaned. Meaning, you need video evidence before and after you engage in conflict. You can’t leave it up to merely 911 and the witnesses of the enemy, to tell your side of the story.

Set it up before hand, in order to justify it later if you have to. The police needs it now for various reasons and to fight corruption. Citizens will have a severe need for it soon, if not now. Should be easy given how many smart phone cameras people like to use.

  33. But this is also good for the average citizen defender. If you see some hoodies out with video phones out, being loud, and carrying stuff, while emitting hostility, the threat rating on those targets should be upgraded using whatever system you have.

I have my own based on range and other factors. Most people tend to use color coded parameters and triggers, since that’s one of the Frontsight conditioned responses, and most Americans I know primarily train, use, or rely upon firearms in order to setup a defensive perimeter.

  34. The Cycle of Violence. Welcome to the Israeli Palestinian conflict.

Courtesy of Leftists people like to vote into power and lick the boot heels of, of course.

The sub human trash has initiated a perpetuating Cycle of Violence. Remember those lecturing you about that?

  35. SteveH; Yes! “injustice hoarder” is most certainly descriptive.

It was “racism” that caused others to not like him. And, it was “homophobia” that caused others to not like him. And if given time (that is to say if he weren’t let go from his job), I have no doubt, that he would have found another excuse! (Maybe he would have claimed: “They made fat comments!” or some such thing)

Yep, some people are always on the lookout for reasons to be offended. Combine that with mental illness and we then have problems.

Over the years I have worked with such folks and now I am going to be far more wary of them. I’d hate to prejudge them by thinking they might “take revenge”; but, perhaps my own survival could be at stake.

  36. Neo:

I guess he admired the Charleston shooting so much he decided to emulate it.

You mean, he had to imitate the racial violence in order to end it?

  37. Regarding Cornhead’s question, this is from a Roanoke Times story:

“It remains unclear how Flanagan knew Parker and Ward were working at Bridgewater Plaza on Wednesday morning, although WDBJ frequently promotes details about its upcoming stories.

A worker with Smith Mountain Lake developer Willard Cos., who asked not to be identified, said he was having coffee in nearby Burnt Chimney about 6:30 a.m. when a car pulled up and the driver, who appeared calm, asked for directions to Bridgewater Plaza.

That driver was Flanagan, the worker later said.”

The station’s promos or even the reporter’s Twitter account might have revealed where she would be that morning.

  38. I fail to understand why any Black American would bother to launch a race based war:

    1) The President has that covered.

    2) It’s usually poor strategy to attack when the correlation of forces are terrible.

In the immediate situation, Blacks are being ‘ethnically cleansed’ by the Presidential favorites: illegal aliens up from Mexico and points further south.

Hence, the entire gambit was and is insane.

Since he targeted unarmed women at point blank range, I must confess that he profiled as a Muslim.

Instead, it appears that he was merely a lunatic, hardly a lode star for political and cultural direction.

  39. I think people underestimate this kind of stuff. It’s little different from what people do when they discriminate against minorities because the majority told them it was the right thing to do. Leftists discriminate against patriots. LEOs discriminate against perceived enemies in society, like veterans, blacks, constitutionalists, whatever. Whoever isn’t union or LEO, even the LEOs that are whistle blowers, those are treated as traitors too.

I look around this nation and I see all kinds of people who do crazy things because the Voices of Authority told them it was Righteous to do so. They have no conscience, they have no willpower of their own, they’re just zombies obeying their orders much like Nazi stormtroopers. They don’t really think about the consequences or the right/wrong of it, one way or another.

Crazy is really defined by what the majority thinks are valid orders. The idea that most of America wouldn’t support killing their enemies if their Authorities told them to, is what’s crazy. Right now, they aren’t, because nobody has told them to do it, except for some black minorities and Islamic Jihadists. When it becomes the new norm, that’ll be different.
