On the opposition to the “refugees,” Obama offers his usual insightful, well-reasoned, and statesmanlike analysis
Obama reacts to critics of his immigration policy with the sort of style and substance we’ve come to expect of our president:
Speaking to reporters Wednesday morning in the Philippines, Obama scoffed at attempts to block refugees following the Paris terror attacks as “political posturing” that “needs to stop.”
“Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America,” Obama said of Republicans. “At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
There’s nothing like the old “scaredy-cat, scaredy-cat!” routine to demonstrate the unity and lack of divisiveness, the insight and cool analysis of the situation, that Americans can appreciate from Obama, particularly coming less than a week after the Paris attacks.
Obama, a president for the ages.
The worst part of his response is that his very own incompetence is the reason the world has a Syrian refugee crisis!

Here’s the thing: it wasn’t incompetence but a deliberate choice, the deliberate choice of a bona fide moral cretin to abandon the Syrian and Iranian people to the murderous depredations of their tyrant rulers. The deaths of two hundred thousand Syrian civilians was his policy choice.

And he’s proud of it. He says his policy (which is dictated by alliance with the Islamic Republic of Iran) is working! What else would he be referring to?
If it was only widows and 3 year old orphans the petulant boy king might have at least a tiny bit of rationale for his snarky response. However, we know, the msm knows, vj knows, and bho knows the ‘refugees’ will be 70 to 90% males between the ages of 15 and 40. Just move along folks, no threat of importing jihadists here.

I had read several comments on Obama’s remarks, including Mead’s, before seeing the remarks themselves. I’m speechless.
Michelle Malking is referring to the refugees as refujihadists. I think it’s the way to go.
People are thinking the refugees just need a blanket and some food.
But Refugee resettlement watch has shown what BIG BUSINESS this is. LA is asking for refugees because so much federal funds comes with it. Refugee families are given half a million dollars over a 5 year period.
That’s not a blanket and food. That is dependency. And risk.

The entire “Find an ISIS among 1000 Migrants” reminds me of the Ebola time: Of 1000 people flying in per day, all with fever, which one has Ebola? Remember? There were those who wanted to ban all flights from Africa,me included, and those, including the Bamster, who said that would be cruel, unfair, and unAmerican. He had full confidence in the CDC to deal with it, as he has now with our esteemed security agencies. Even as the CDC showed it was utterly incapable.

I think the answer is “Sow chaos”.
His indifference to the gravity of the Ebola threat, plus refusing to deport illegals, welcoming un-vetted Muslims by the tens-of-thousands, inciting Black militancy, meddling in the Middle East, spending without restraint (and with no results to speak of) — EVERY SINGLE THING Preznit OBastard has done has resulted in increasing destabilization of America and the world.
Guess the “received wisdom” of all the Progressives/ Commies who are The West’s “leaders” is that We-The-Citizens of their various countries will beg for a “Strong Man who promises to restore order” (once their repeated and continued treasons have finally caused the formerly peaceful citizens of their nations to riot in the streets).

It was a deliberate choice. In the same New Yorker interview in which Obama used his J.V. team analogy he acknowledged that ISIS intended to just engage in sectarian violence and local conflicts. Essentially settling scores with tribes that had opposed them.
Here’s the thing. That means he accepted part of the intel that was fed to him, and rejected other parts, on no basis other than what served his vile domestic agenda.
Which, as he put it, is to fundamentally transform America. He has never deviated from that goal, and it explains everything from his foreign policy to having his Dept. of Education make the girls shower with the boys.
He had no reason to reject the intel that ISIS had transnational terrorist aspirations and capabilities other than the fact that diminishing America abroad is part of fundamentally transforming America. We are no longer a superpower but an also ran.
So he said in that New Yorker interview that what ISIS was doing was none of our business.
But intel also told him that the sectarian and local score settling ISIS intended to engage in, and that Obama clearly knew about since he mentioned it to his interviewer, would result in a refugee crisis.
Obama then started laying the groundwork to bring those refugees into the US. Including illegally changing the law that prohibited anyone who had provided material support to terrorists from entering the country as a refugee. In 2014 his DHS unilaterally changed the law so that someone who had provided “limited” material support to terrorists could qualify. And Lord knows how much support these people could provide and this administration would still look the other way.
ISIS could not have created their share of these refugees without Obama’s help. He has the military to obliterate them but refuses to do so. Because bringing in hundreds of thousands of these refugees, like bringing in millions of illegal aliens, gives him allies in his quest to fundamentally transform America. We won’t be getting a different crop of refugees than Europe, and the Muslim refugees are demanding Europe change to suit them. They’ll do the same thing here.
This will give Obama another chance to wag his finger and call us racists and “un-American” and say “that’s not who we are” and demand we go along with his transformation of this country.
A country he thinks is illegitimate and its very creation a crime against humanity.

Actually he has his own ideology. He needs to give America its comeuppance. That’s what he means by fundamental transformation. So of course he’s going to ignore the intel. It interferes with and in fact contradicts his main goal of beating it into our heads that we’re the main threat to the world.
He also said, when he was still candidate Obama, that he wasn’t just going to “end the wars” as President. He was going to end the habits that keep getting us into wars. As far as he’s concerned we’re a country of bitterly clinging xenophobes who are afraid of widows and orphans and therefore see threats everywhere, and then use the military as a first resort.
He’s not going to “validate” our phobias by reading the intel. It might lend legitimacy to our delusions about how “the other” are dangerous people. It might create a demand that he do something about it. And that’s the problem; we see a danger and we demand our President do something about it. We shoot first and ask questions later. That’s exactly the kind of bad habit he intends to break us of. The smartest man in any room sees through it all. We swaggering paranoid cowboys have been doing it wrong until he came along. He’s the first President EVAH who turned to diplomacy as a first resort. And if he has his way we won’t have a military to hide behind when he’s done. Or an economy capable of rebuilding one.
This is his teachable moment. He don’t need no stinkin’ intel. He has as Atkisson notes “other ideas.” We are the problem. If other people are dangerous we made them that way. We are the ones who need to change.
