Immigration backlash in Sweden
Their share hasn’t grown very large yet, but the anti-immigration Swedish Democrats have risen in the polls since the refugee crisis has led the present government to force Swedes to accept so many of the “Syrian refugees” into their country.
The current government is a coalition of three parties: the Social Democrats, who are the largest group; the Greens; and the Left. That troika is now down 3 points in the polls to 39%, while the Swedish Democrats have risen 5 points to 19.9% support. It’s not a majority, but it is probably significant:

And after Sweden’s generous asylum policies led to a surge in refugee flows from war zones in the Middle East, the government’s political clout has waned. Its budget pact with the opposition fell apart in October and both the coalition and the main opposition parties have since been forced to tighten their stance on immigration.
Loefven in November opted to backtrack on a pledge to provide permanent residence permits to all Syrian refugees and will instead only offer temporary permits, unless asylum seekers arrive under the United Nations quota system. That will adjust rules to the “minimum EU level” to give Sweden some “breathing room,” he said on Nov. 24.
The government is tightening rules for family re-unifications and enforcing border controls. While the measures have had some effect, Loefven said the inflow of asylum seekers is still unsustainable and has urged other EU countries to do more. As many as 190,000 asylum seekers are expected to arrive in Sweden this year alone, a development that is overwhelming authorities in a country of 10 million where housing shortages are already an issue.
By my calculations, that influx represents 2% of the Swedish population, and that’s just this year. The Swedes are becoming more alarmed, and more of them awakening from their pleasant Socialist stupor as a result. Even before all of this, Sweden had been having difficulty with the fact that its rape statistics had skyrocketed, with most of the rapes being committed by immigrants of Middle Eastern origin:
1996 Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention report bears this out. It noted that Muslim immigrants from North Africa were 23 times more likely to commit rape than Swedish men. It is no wonder why today Sweden is deemed the rape capital of the Western world.
Even more shocking, however, is the political correctness overshadowing the reporting of these crimes. Sensitive about accusations of Islamophobia, the Swedish press refuses to sound a warning alarm for native women about who these sexual predators are. Thus, when a Muslim commits a rape, the media only refers to him as a Swedish male.
But this failure to shine the light on Muslim male rapists leaves them hiding in the shadows to commit even more egregious sex crimes. With no fear of accountability, these predators have adopted a pack mentality. A crime non-existent in Sweden in the 1970s is now commonplace today as the country has become a breeding ground for gang rapes.
Compiling statistics and understanding them is not as simple as that quote suggests, however. For one thing, Sweden has broadened its definition of the crime of rape in recent years to include issues of consent, including when a woman is in a state of “fear or unconsciousness.” So not all the rapes are what the law has traditionally thought of as rape. In addition, the reporting of rapes in Sweden is not conveniently broken down by authorities into categories that would be of particular interest in tracking the problem (I suspect the omission is not accidental), and the details must be teased out. However, there is every indication that Middle Eastern immigrants account for a huge proportion of the rapes in Sweden.
Swedes are becoming afraid of this and other mores that the newcomers bring with them, including of course their lack of assimilation into Swedish life:
“Often they don’t want to come here and change,” [a Swede] says. “They want to change us. And we don’t want to be changed. So that’s a conflict.”
The left calls this xenophobia. The right calls it realism. But it stands to reason that, if you let in large numbers of a group that wants to change you, you will be changed.
The popular t-shirt worn by many Muslim youth says it all: “2030 – That’s when we take over…”
It’s too late for Sweden and all of Western Europe. They are facing, in at best another generation, demographic suicide and the collapse of their social welfare system. That collapse happens regardless of what they do. Tyranny will follow, either Islamic or another form of communism.
Europe has made its bed and removed any possibility of escape from their fate. They face a nightmarish future.

Not long ago a Swedish judge gave an absurdly light sentence (because of their supposed ages and refugee status) to a group of North African Muslims guilty of gang-raping a Swedish woman, while, according to Breitbart, a leftist Swedish journalist has recently claimed that Sweden would be better off with ISIS terrorists than with members of the allegedly xenophobic Sweden Democrats.

Our friends in Stockholm have been concerned with the influx for at least a decade. Its such a terrible state of affairs. Stockholm is the jewel of the Baltic and the Swedish countryside is idyllic.
They should put them in a guarded enclave in the far north with a few blankets, some firewood, and plenty of bacon and potatoes to eat. Then wait for winter.
The Bishop of Stockholm has proposed a church in her diocese remove all signs of the cross and put down markings showing the direction to Mecca for the benefit of Muslim worshippers.

The alternative to bringing them en masse over here is to establish safe zones over there of the kind the US established in Iraq between Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom pursuant to UNSCR 688 (1991) and Public Laws 102-1 and 102-190 (1991).
The problem with the alternative is it would require a military commitment that overlaps with the taboo that’s been bolted onto the Iraq intervention with stigma derived from the false narrative of OIF. So the alternative has been disqualified.
Once again, restoring the needed range of action of American leadership for the situation requires de-stigmatizing OIF and re-normalizing the ‘strong horse’ type of American leadership that manifested with OIF.
The thing is the immigrants will never go home. The Swedes are stuck with them and their heirs, successors and assigns.

Anti-immigration is their framing to spin a narrative. The actual reaction is pro-native. The Swedes oppose anti-native immigration policies. This does not preclude immigration. It does require immigration to not exceed the rate of assimilation and integration, and that it does not serve to replace or displace legal citizens and residents.
Also, the refugee crisis is opportunistic, created by the same people who aborted and displaced them. Premature evacuation, social justice, assassination, coups, preemptive regime changes, etc. have consequences.
Sooner or later the jihadists will cause so much rape, death, and destruction there will be a brutal backlash against the entire islamic world. And, 70% of the populations of the West will show the chattering class they don’t give a damn about muslim ‘migrants’ or microaggressions against ‘moderate’ muslims. It will require the deaths of tens of thousands, but I think that day will come.

I assume Stefan Lé¶fven has not been raped yet. That’s why she is crying. After her rape she will cry for different reasons. So much for the vaunted sisterhood we keep hearing about from the feminists.
As far back as eleven years ago it was evident then that Swedish culture as in trouble and politicians did not have the common sense to understand the consequences of their altuistic policies. Just walking around any shopping mall in Sweden and observing the behavior of the immigrants told the story.
Forget Sweden, it is lost.

Our politicians appear to be ignoring the majority of people that feel threatened by non-assimilating mass immigration.
Throughout the Western world, we are past the point where governments give a rip about what the people want. We are not being governed; we are being ruled.
(And need I point out that governments that refuse to defend their borders are no longer legitimate, and deserve to be “altered or abolished”?)
We white people in Europe and North America are constantly told that our opposition to open borders is “racism”. But is racism really so terrible?
Lynching people of other races, simply for being members of other races, is wrong.
Smashing windows and vandalizing businesses owned by people of other religions is wrong.
But there is absolutely nothing wrong with simply preferring to live and work among one’s own kind.
White people are going to have to become proudly, explicitly, enthusiastically, and unapologetically racist if we expect to survive. That is simply a fact. If we don’t, we will be overwhelmed and annihilated. Look at any neighborhood where whites become a minority. It ain’t pretty.
And why not? Nobody of any other race is expected to grovel and apologize for their very existence.
If I lived in Europe, you bet your ass I would be voting for a “far right” party. Unfortunately, in Europe, pretty much all of the parties are Socialist to one degree or another. Given a choice between International Socialist or National Socialist, I’m afraid I would have to choose the National flavor. It’s become purely a matter of survival.
Meanwhile in the United States, both major political parties are melding into a single Communofascist Party. Neither of them takes limited Constitutional government or free-market capitalism seriously anymore, except as talking points to fool the rubes. Both of them have become thoroughly corporatist and internationalist.
We no longer have representative government. We are being ruled by self-appointed elites. And they intend to cram multiculturalism down our throats until we choke to death.
With regard to the increase of rapes.

But the trend was clear until then. You can discount the step in 2005, and some percentage of assault from then on, and that would be a 10-20% smaller number.
It would still skyrocketing. The change of the law is just an excuse. It would be like trying dismiss unemployment problem because it was not 30%, but only 25%.
The first time I ever got “gang-attacked” — or whatever you call it, on a blog, was prior to the invasion of Iraq, so maybe it was early 2003. All I did was point out the surge of rapes by Muslim immigrants in Norway and in France. Both y father and mother were Norwegian, and I was married to a young woman from Avignon. Although otherwise politically correct (almost to a fault) she had come in contact with enough packs of young Arab males to have lost all sympathy for that culture. She said they always traveled in packs, usually carrying a boombox playing either rap or — especially late at night — loudly broadcasting angry-sounding “sermons” or rants by famous imams. They would go out of their way to intimidate couples… much less a young woman on her own. We really thought about moving there,,,,I’m so very glad we did not.Europe is on its way — no, it’s already there. It’s a hellhole.
WAR, what ugly images come to mind. Regardless, humanity is well skilled in the practice of conflict resolution via a violent response. Some people, and some cultures, cannot understand any other way to be rebuffed. If we look at history we will soon discover that the Islamic hoards can only be controlled through violence. They will sit down and treat with anyone, as long as that person is stronger than they and willing to keep their foot on the Moslem neck. Without that willingness, the Moslem seems to feel obligated to dominate his opponent in any way he can.
We, the western civilization, are at war. Unless we can bring ourselves to the point of accepting this and gain the political will to conquer our Moslem opponent the grandchildren of America and all Europe will bow down to Mecca five times a day. Without question, we have been invaded. The only question is, what will we do about it? Will words deliver us? Have words ever delivered anyone from the Moslems grasp? I can’t find an example anywhere.
As a hillbilly told me one fine morning in Little Rock back in 1992, “All some men really need is a good killing to make them ‘right’.” He sounded an awful lot like Hillary Clinton, but was much more honest.
That is the example history has applied to great affect, allowing mothers and fathers to raise their families in peace.

Multiculturalism is fine. Just as non-discrimination, tolerance, and diversity are fine.
The concepts become problems when they’re redefined – corrupted – with the Left’s either/or evolutionary Marxist template of norm/stigma by [fill in the blank] class. (Note: ‘Template’ because Marx’s original class system has been stripped out while his very effective social evolutionary template has been repurposed.)
Similar to that the reasonable concept of rape is not the same concept as the Left’s “rape culture” offensive targeting campus culture, your “Nobody of any other race is expected to grovel and apologize for their very existence” is a reaction to otherwise reasonable concepts that have been redefined and corrupted with the Marxist template. The Left’s advocacy that has alienated you is not an inherent feature of multiculturalism – nor for that matter, non-discrimination, tolerance, and diversity.
Multiculturalism is fine. It’s the Marxist Left, and its corruptions, that must be purged.
As much as I criticize conservatives for their chronically deficient activism, on this issue, I blame your reaction more on the failure of liberals to contain the Left. Not the leftists disguised as liberals who’ve displaced genuine liberals. But the genuine liberals who, like the conservatives, have failed to compete sufficiently as activists against the relentless activism of the Left. Liberals have been cowed, purged, and replaced, and those remaining go along to get along with the ‘strong horse’ Left. In the activist game, the only social cultural/political game there is, liberals have failed to protect the integrity of concepts they’ve championed, like multiculturalism, from the Marxist corruption of the Left.
