Alicia Garza, Black Lives Matter — 23 Comments

  1. Yet another demonstration of why one should not rely on Wikipedia for information on anything or anyone even remotely political.

  2. Good thing we have sites like Discover the Networks to fill in the gaps!

Probably also helps to look at who is funding Black Lives Matter, particularly what goals/ideologies they have in common with Ms. Garza.

The three people most closely associated with leadership roles in #BlackLivesMatter, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi, are established radicals who haven’t held a job. Ever. The link to Soros and now to Democracy Alliance indicates that the anti-American progressives who rule the Democrat party have decided that it is to their advantage to ensure that #BlackLivesMatter is able to continue along its current trajectory.

  3. So she’s a Marxist, a racist, and heterophobic.

The Soros funding connection makes sense, since he’s on record stating his belief that America must be destroyed. BLM is just one of the many tools he’s using to that end. Nor is it surprising for a former NAZI collaborator to hate the nation who destroyed those he supported.

And, all of the above assertions are factual, not a matter of personal opinion.

  4. “Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi, are established radicals who haven’t held a job. Ever. ”

It occurred to me last night that, although it’s well known that Bernie Sanders never held a paying job for long, if ever, he suddenly won a political race — who supported him and paid for the campaign???

  5. They have been taught that they are victims of the evil white man, just like Obama. I noticed early on that Obama was pulling the victim card.

  6. Yes, she’s a dangerous person. Particularly since she is, as I’ve stated, charismatic, extremely mediagenic (my made up word for photogenic and media friendly) and she’s utterly committed to extreme Marxist goals. She knows when to tone it down for the cameras and when to put her cards on the table when in the company of people she thinks are like-minded. She’s certainly not the only one out there but it is disheartening to see the mainstream acceptance of people who are totally fringe and extreme in their actual political beliefs — i.e. Marxist revolutionaries.

And yes, KLSmith, as you know I am sure, she has been invited to the White House! Of course she was upset with Obama and made no bones about it when asked, but she was there! Obama AND Bernie Sanders are too lightweight. She made comments that Sanders was not enough of a socialist for her in the East Bay Express.

Yes, good we have “Discover the Networks” to bring people the actual truth of the matter without any sweetening.

I can only hope that people like this, who are doing so much damage now, will wake up like David Horowitz and other ex-radicals and see that their Marxist agendas are hurting black people, and frankly, LGBT people.

Soros is behind it I am sure, though he may not be the only one. These organizations get their money from somewhere, these people are able to support themselves by simply agitating.

  7. Omissions indeed.

Another of the founders of Black Lives Matter is OPAL TOMETI who is the daughter of illegal immigrants from Nigeria. As someone who has lived in Africa I can testify that she should be counting her blessings for the privilege of living in this great country rather than in the nasty hell hole she came from.

  8. It should be worth noting that for people on the far left, black people are considered the “vanguard”. I remember this from my own days in the late 70’s going to Socialist Worker’s meetings. The vanguard is the leading arm of the revolution which is why there is so much emphasis on BLM and why organizations like The Black Panthers and the Black Guerrilla Family etc. have so much traction with the left. A friend of mine, who is not a lefty, said that for the left “Black people are sacred”. Which I think is true. Black people seem to hold, as a group, some kind of mythic status — and the vanguard idea explains a lot of that.

Of course, I’ve also been in the ironic position of having a white lefty scream at me about “the Indians – -what about the INDIANS!” (American Indians) as I sat there trying to discuss another topic altogether about left wing policy. They never seem to get the irony of a white person yelling at someone whose mother is FROM AN INDIAN RESERVATION about “the Indians”! They use us to stir up anti-American sentiment — in arguments. Particularly if they are losing… heh – I generally ignore these tirades… they are very strange to my ears… Or I say, whatever happened or did not happen — in the 1800’s has nothing to do with (insert Democrat policy agenda in the 21st century).

But I digress. I guess this whole BLM mess will continue for awhile. I am just very worried thinking how much trouble it can still cause.

  9. If she was the creature I saw very briefly on O’Reilly last night, she is indeed mediagenic. O’Reilly hadn’t done his homework (he often does not), and she blew smoke all over him. I knew from her hair style that she was FOS, and I was not wrong, it now turns out. When she said she co-founded BLM, I left.
She is apparently a lesbian “married” to a bi-racial “transgender.”

The carnival freaks are running the show, and we can’t leave.

  10. Frog: Yes, being able to blow smoke on O’Reilly is no small feat. She comes from a very privileged background, her parents are wealthy antique dealers as I have mentioned before. Maybe something about their success will give her pause… (though probably not, she probably feels guilt) I do hope that one day, she wakes up and figures out she was on the wrong side of the war but hey — she’s getting so much positive media attention now she probably won’t.

  11. Dennis: Yes, you would think Ms. Tometi would get it about the US REALLY being the land of opportunity that she has found success in… particularly relative to Nigeria… But, no…

  12. Actually, beyond all other labels, Ms Graza is an attention whore. Those sick in the head, heart, and soul want attention to heal their sickness. Personally, I do not care the who, what, where, or why of their twisted sickness. Cut her off from access to public attention and she shrivels into her own personal hell. That may be tragic, but my give a damn is busted.

  13. I don’t understand why DTN’s article on “Assata Shakur” didn’t mention that her name, before she changed it, was JoAnne Chesimard.

People who know anything about the New Left in the ’60’s or about Weatherman, or who were readers of FPM in the old days, know the name JoAnne Chesimard. But some may have missed the makeover to Assata Shakur.

  14. I’m not going theological here, but we need to start thinking in terms of Good and Evil. Especially while good people bicker and do nothing.

  15. In that sense, is Trump Good or Evil for having been a Democrat and supported Democrats for much of his 70 years in life?

As for Republicans, that would be a sign of his supporting the GOP establishment, now wouldn’t it.

I’m not going theological here, but we need to start thinking in terms of Good and Evil. Especially while good people bicker and do nothing.”

Yes, well, the problem is that “we” do not any longer agree on what constitutes either “good” or “evil”; or if these terms have any objective meaning at all.

Certainly, you know many people who style themselves political progressives, and who would deny that the term “evil” is anything more than a term for what we are supposedly “conditioned” to dislike; except that is for acts of exclusion, judgementalism, and so forth, which are taken to be evil per se – despite the overarching principle that there really is no such thing as “evil” in the first place.

Not exactly sure how that works, myself.

I suspect it works kind of in the same way that “human rights”, as opposed to natural rights, works.

You see, it is obvious that natural rights don’t exist because the human nature from which they are deduced as legal inferences, is taken not to exist. No human nature, no deductions therefrom. Easy peasy.

However “human rights” you see, are in fact quite straightforward. They are the rights (So the U.N. types inform us) that you have just because you are a human. Like having others provide you with food, potable water, and sexual gratification. In which cases, no further analysis is apparently either necessary or desirable.

Gosh, it’s so easy once you know how to do it, eh? The secret, is in knowing exactly how.

Now as for the good people themselves any longer knowing the difference between good and evil, I am doubtful: given their ‘peace and justice we are one family sharing our fears and dysfunctions’ version of morality; which is preached to them in their churches by wan and feeble anal-receptive niche seekers. And if you have an old fashioned version of “good” in mind, how would they even know what that “good was”? That is, even if we were to admit for the sake of argument that there were such a thing as “good”.

Apart of course, again, from the obvious objective good of always being unconditionally welcomed, included, affirmed and having our insanity applauded, and publicly underwritten.

    Lavishly.

  17. Hacked Messages Discuss the Plan for a Black Lives Matter “Summer of Chaos” Leading to Martial Law

Is U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch coordinating with Black Lives Matter activists to disrupt the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions so that martial law will be declared and the elections suspended/indefinitely postponed? This allegation is the subject of hundreds of articles regarding a series of purported direct messages between three leading Black Lives Matter activists.
    What we do know

On Friday, June 10, 2016, Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader and former Baltimore Mayoral Candidate DeRay McKesson claimed that someone hacked into his phone and took control of his twitter account. DeRay McKesson reported the hack to The Baltimore Sun. On June 11, 2016, a twitter user who calls himself The Saint (@TheSaintNegro) tweeted what he claims are private direct-message conversations that occurred on June 10 between DeRay McKesson and Johnetta Elzie, in which the two discussed coordination of plans to cause the declaration of martial law through disruptive protests and direct action at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA.

  18. JOHNETTA ELZIE: “Have you spoken with Mrs. Lynch [Attorney General Loretta Lynch] recently about the plan for the summer and fall leading up to the elections.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “We spoke two weeks and they want us to start really pushing how racist Trump is now instead of waiting so the others can start getting the protesters ready to shut both conventions down.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “If we can get both conventions shut down for messing over Bernie and for having racist Trump, then get martial law declared so Obama can stay in office we will win. Call you soon when I get to my dads so I can use his landline and we can talk more on this.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “We have to make sure that we use our voices to keep people disrupting Trump all summer and through the fall so martial law can be declared….”

SAMUEL SINYANGWE: “I wanted to touch base with you about the summer of chaos. So far we have over 2,000 people bused in from different cities and another 6,000 to 8,000 expected to drive into Cleveland for the Convention.”

SAMUEL SINYANGWE: “They will not be ready for the crowds we are bringing and they will blame Trump for it, especially if we shut it down. The GOP will have to replace him at that point or we will continue the disruptions nationwide.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “I will pass the info along. Good work, Sam. You never let us down. It’s so important we stop Trump. He can not be president. He will destroy everything we worked so hard for and we can’t trust….”

DERAY MCKESSON: “…today and he [Sam?] confirmed that there will be around 10,000 protesters disrupting the [Republican] convention. Plans are being made for other cities as well for upcoming Trump events. Ads have already been placed looking for people to help. I know you don’t care for them [white people] but this is the time we need our white allies doing a lot of the work for us. They are the ones who listen the best.”

JOHNETTA ELZIE: “That will put fear into the GOP and the country when they can’t have their convention for all their racist supporting Trump. We’ve worked too hard and closely with the Obama administration to have that racist ass take it all away and Hillary…. You know I can’t stand those white allies, but yo right this is the best to use them. They hang on every word you say and will do whatever is asked. I just hate all that kiss ass they try to do. Like that changes who they are.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “We have a lot of white allies volunteering for Trump’s campaign to pass along information to us before it’s made public so we know when rallies are coming up before they are announced. That way we can plan major disruptions in those cities in advance. We just have to keep our names out of this and let these [white] people do the work for us by pushing how Trump’s racist ways will destroy….”

JOHNETTA ELZIE: “That’s all those white people are good for in my eyes. I couldn’t imagine even pretending to like that racist ass Trump even to get info on his events. I’ll be glad when we shut his ass down.”

DERAY MCKESSON: “With the support we have from Mrs. Lynch and the help we’ve got from Sam and others it won’t be hard to cause enough….”
