Makeover: a better version of me — 12 Comments

  1. Korean (South Korean) cosmetic surgery is now at a level that outdoes science-fiction. Look at before-and-after pictures there.

  2. In the before photo she looks as if she’d been out on a bender the night before. Isn’t that usually the case with before photos?

She looks too Hollywood glam in the after photo. I’d prefer to see her without false eyelashes, for one thing.

  3. And women complain if a man pretends he has more money than he does… but in some cases, half of what he is dating is man made nylon or other modern fabric. its interesting that a man in china divorced and sued his wife for having plastic surgery before they met so that he didn’t know how bad she looked before, and so didn’t know he was going to have ugly children.

i take no sides in these ideas..
just reporting… if you have a bad comment, take it up with the people that grouse about it meaningfully and or that (cant call him gentleman), in china…

They could have done a great “natural look” thing, but they were going for impact and so, distance…

  4. Artfldgrs, I don’t think that’s a good comparison. With the woman having a makeover, what would her “actual” appearance be, especially as regards her hair?

It could be argued that our “actual” appearances are naked and ungroomed. I’m thinking I’m at enough social disadvantage as it is as an old fat bald guy without encouraging any societal movement toward naturalness. Not even a nod, I say.
