Happy post-modern, Indigenous People’s, Columbus Day — 8 Comments

  1. A african american co worker said he hated columbus and that we should not celebrate… a young man..

if it was on the subway and not work, i would have asked him if he preffered borderline starvation, nasty deseases like lichmoniasis, and general genocide for every altercation between groups?

but he probably thinks that without columbus, and the british here, and all those imigrants of the top inventors and people that mankind produced… would have happened in other places where the despots controlled everything and created a dark age and so on.. would have invented and done what it did without the USA, its ideals, and so on…

in fact, most likely, he would not have been born…
after all, what population would africa have if the USA post columbus wasnt sending money, clothes, and food and tools and experts and so on?

I have spent time in that area in the fall, and it’s exceptionally beautiful.

  6. Great photos Neo; thanks for sharing.

I especially like the VERY red maple tree and the falls colors in the mist.

The only thing that I don’t like about Fall is that it means a lot of leaf raking and winter is soon, too soon, to come.
