If you want to talk about Nazis,… — 29 Comments

  1. I visited Hawaii for the first time in October 2014. The only time.

We talked to Hawaiin locals who drove us around and there is a disconnect – sort of like in California.

They pick the winners and losers there via law. It might be an interesting project Neo but maybe not.

According to him, they provide via law housing, college and other benefits to those who are 100% Hawaiin. If a Hawaiin marries a non Hawaii for instance and they have a 50/50 baby that these benefits do not carry forward.

The disconnect to me is that it never seems to be about equality under the law for Democrats. It’s about what certain people can “receive” and take from others. There will always be some sort of justification for hand outs but I want my children (well my kids are 17 and 20 – but they are half Asian and half Caucasian) to not be penalized based on their race or provided benefits.

That way from birth they know they have to try just as hard as everyone else. Is that too quaint?

  2. Former San Franciscans. OF COURSE!

According to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the café was founded by Robert Warner, a former hair stylist for Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco and former restaurateur in Seattle, along with his wife Jali.

Reached for comment Tuesday, Jali downplayed the sign’s supposed ban. She told FoxNews.com the restaurant is not actually asking customers whether they voted for President-elect Trump, and said even if they see a customer with a Trump shirt, “we don’t put anything different [in] your food.”

“Robert just wants to express how much he doesn’t like Trump,” Jali said. “If people take it personally or it hurts them, we cannot help. That’s why we say they have [a] choice if they want to come or not come. We don’t force them”

Riiiiight. He’s just “expressing” his feelings! They can’t be responsible if you take their personal threats personally!
Sensible wife doesn’t want business to fall off or anything.
Claims they won’t spit in your food.

  3. Here’s more hilarity:

‘While Jali is soft-spoken, Warner, some customers note, is known to channel the “soup Nazi” persona of New York City and “Seinfeld” fame — “throwing pots and pans,” “telling off customers,” and “hanging not-so-friendly reminders on butcher paper for his customers to read.” ‘

    Nazis gonna Nazi.
I’m surprised these people have any business.

  4. I hasten to freely admit that I have a lot of trouble obeying this Sermon-on-the-Mount command, but it’s there and it’s meant to be taken seriously:

    KJV Matthew 5:43-44,46-47

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

    44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

  5. Danno:

The difference is that sexual orientation is a legally protected group, as is race. Are Trump voters? Not specifically, although I suppose one could make a case that this is a form of depriving them of their civil rights. I don’t think it would wash, though. Nobody stops them from voting. And the owners can’t even tell who’s a Trump voter, so Trump voters are actually quite free to walk into the place and be served, as long as they don’t identify themselves as such.

That’s what’s so weird about the whole thing, and what makes it virtue-signaling. The restaurant can’t tell who’s a Trump voter and who isn’t. They’re not going to quiz all their patrons, either.

  6. Congratulations to Mr. Warner for telling Trump voters he doesn’t want your money, so take your money to some other place. Snowflakes, without regard to age, should be shunned.

  7. Meanwhile, he is setting us up for world war with russia and china… A) by letting china build military on the islands so that only military can stop them… B) insulting the russians and telling their diplomats to leave

just in time for the 100th anniversary of the birth of communism in 1917…

lets wait… no need to discuss it…
not since there has been over 10 years of build up and build down by the US…

  8. Art:

He will have a lot to do in the month of January. Has BHO ever showed any willingness to work hard at anything? Or is this the new tipping point? Poor Russians, the lame duck has insulted them, boo hoo.

  9. The left has always been this way, from ernst rudin writing for sanger and praising her as he designed the shoa, and others… they just hide when they realize the average person wont like them, but have repeatedly tried to put their things forward to find out they are not liked. now they are attacking the whole of the means of that which protected isreal… or havent you noticed who the calls for extermination are going for? you think a we can do it you cant do it, in terms of business freedom is Nazi? how about calling for the extermination of a race group?

Racist Professor Calls For “White Genocide,” Blames Everyone Else For Misinterpreting His Tweets
A Drexel University Political Science professor – who has a book coming out in February – and is a communist, graced the world with his Christmas wish to see an entire race of human beings exterminated. You know, like Hitler.

and professors now feel bold enough that they think they can expose their real thoughts that they held back thinking the world will side with them (thanks to the overwhelming consensus the news gives them!!!! as it tries to use consensus to get others to side with the ideas)

    on another note:

Apart from the traditional fireworks and illuminated ball in Times Square, look for a blazing comet to light the night sky on New Year’s Eve.

The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory said a comet may be visible as people welcome in 2017 on Saturday.

“Say farewell to 2016 in cosmic style by looking up to see the #NewYearsEve #comet on December 31,” the laboratory said in a Wednesday Instagram post.

comets have an interesting history in terms of portents 🙂

  10. OM Says: Art:
He will have a lot to do in the month of January. Has BHO ever showed any willingness to work hard at anything?

    Golf? Choom? 🙂

Or is this the new tipping point? Poor Russians, the lame duck has insulted them, boo hoo.

One of the interesting things i have learned from growing up in an inner city slum area is that you can freely insult a person with means, but if you insult someone with nothing or very little, you may end up dead..

One has so much to lose its not worth it, the other has so little to lose that letting you take that last bit is not permissable

then there is the adage of don’t go kicking junk yard dogs… the degree of trouble that particular enemy of ours can cause given its 100 years of insertions and games, and preparations and more, is legendary to this day. all those past tough administrations realized that they not only had means, but given being one of the two that started a world war, it also had no problems with implementation.

He knows that this dangerous situation will be plopped in Trumps lap and regardless of how it plays out it will be useful to the cause, but they certainly dont care about conflict, breaking eggs, eugenics, babies, fetus, children, rainbows, etc. All things are justifiable given their collective goals.

White House announces retaliation against Russia: Sanctions, ejecting diplomats
    http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/29/politics/russia-sanctions-announced-by-white-house/

The administration described Russia’s involvement as “Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities” and sanctioned four Russian individuals and five Russian entities for what it said was election interference. The administration also ordered 35 Russian diplomats to leave the country and two Russian compounds are being closed.

in case you dont know it bubbela, the cold war just got restarted… the idea that they spy on us, we spy on them and we both dont make a big thing about it while playing a more legal game has just been chucked out the window!!!

According to statements from the White House and the Treasury Department, the government has sanctioned nine entities and individuals over their alleged interference in the election: the GRU and the FSB, which are two Russian intelligence services; four individual officers of the GRU; and three companies that provided material support to the GRU’s operations.

kind of funny, but been saying they been doing stuff for years with few taking that seriously… they been doing more since the fall than they did before the fall… so much more given open borders and literally decades of work and sleepers and more..

United States is an open country and there are known caches of lots of goodies hidden all over (like the one that was found and blown up in another country)…

    we are very vulnerable
even more so given the rise of the snowflakes

there is nothing to be gained by this kind of direct and insulting move… regardless of your position on te spying… (but note, if there was nothing there to put up on display, the left would not have had to worry that they were hacked like the republicans were too)

dkim insures that the emails were and are valid and unchanged…

but if your a student of history, you let me know what has ever happened when one accused the other of such things and of spies…

you ready to go to WW on this? no? well then what point would you, and note that right behind that point, al the acts that can be committed without that result!! assassinations? sabotage? at what point would you start WW? Never? then why would they stop?

its a very dangerous game given that the opposition doesn’t share the limitations we supposedly have as well as put on ourselves…

then there is the dog pile on the rabbit that comes when others see there is not much you can do…

    its bad all around…

  11. Would it be wrong if I went there, sat down, and asked the waitperson to convey to the ownership that
    Obergruppenfé¼hrer John Smith
was present would like to have a word?

(I just binged thru season 2 of the Man in the High Castle and Nazi’s have been in mind)

  12. Another stream of consciousness and exercise of free association.

“but if you insult someone with nothing or very little, you may end up dead..”

So is poor, poor, Vlad, the trillion-aire, klepto ex-KGB tyrant someone with nothing to loose? He would feel insulted by a lame duck?

Don’t worry Donald can deal with Vlad, and the alt-right approve of Vlad, since he is the savior of (whatever it is).

  13. I’d guess that they don’t see a problem with this kind of virtue signaling as they think others think like they do.

And, it might be good for business.

Reminds me of a dry cleaner near Madison Square Garden in NYC when the Republicans held their convention there back in 2004.

This dry cleaner had signs up all around the front windows “welcoming” the Republican delegates; except he referred to them as “homophobes, bigots, racists, sexists, xenophobes, etc.” While some of us might be appalled by such, more likely than not, the neighborhood residents (Manhattan, NY) agreed with him and it might have helped, not hurt, his business.

  14. Where’s a guy in that town gonna get a brat and Free-French fries after a hard day of Anschussing Austria or invading Poland? /sarc.

  15. “we don’t put anything different [in] your food.”

    Hmmmm….

The fact that they would say this indicates to me that they most definitely WOULD consider putting something “different” and likely unpleasant in their food.

  16. Since white men are the scourge of civilization, might I suggest a practice run where all white men stay home for a week. Let’s see how well society functions without them.

  17. The ignorance is amusing. Nazis, Fascists and Communists are all Socialists. I thought the democrats were all for Socialism.

  18. “The difference is that sexual orientation is a legally protected group, as is race.”

A particular group category may enjoy court-imposed legal protections, but I respectfully suggest that the underlying principle is the same, notwithstanding: do not force a business to serve or celebrity (e.g., Rockette dancer/Mormon Tabernacle signer) to perform for those whom it freely chooses not to serve.

If those expressing their disdain of Trump, by choosing not to sing, dance, attend his inaugural celebrations, do not recognize that they are violating the general principle that we should treat all persons without prejudice, legalized or not, then they should be called out for their hypocrisy.

  19. Thank you clarityseeker. That was enlightening. So many things happened one right after the other I had forgotten a lot of it.
