Rep. Conyers… — 9 Comments

  1. “Rep. Conyers retires.
And endorses his eldest son to succeed him.”

“The King is dead, long live the King!”

(“Le roi est mort, vive le roi!”)

  2. Ah yes… the endless parade of the sons of idiots into the Idiocracy.

    PRESIDENT CAMACHO
Today, I solved the biggest bummer
in the history of America. How?…
    (not a rhetorical
    question, actually
    forgot)
    Uuuh… remember when I hired
Secretary Not Sure? He thought of a
    bunch of science involving uh,…
    water and uh… electrolytes…

The audience starts nodding, impressed, on board, when they
    hear “electrolytes.”

    PRESIDENT CAMACHO (CONT’D)
And Not Sure did that science to the
plants. So now, there will be crops!

So nice that now we have Reps who love the taste of oligarchy and nepotism.

  3. M J R beat me to it.

We should be grateful that Conyers didn’t recommend his wife, who spent 27 months in prison on a bribery conviction.

The sad thing about it is that most of his constituents are probably content with continuing the dynasty. The Chavez daughter is waiting….

  4. We should be grateful that Conyers didn’t recommend his wife, who spent 27 months in prison on a bribery conviction.

Who can really blame him for groping wymyn? He was … deprived.

  5. And the beat goes on.

Coleman Young’s illegitimate son, Coleman Young II is running for Mayor of Detroit. I have no idea what his chances are, but politics being what they are in Detroit, he has a good chance.

    Nepotism at its worst.

    Waidmann

  6. Hard to believe the endorsement of a congressman who retired due to a scandal is helpful, especially when it’s his own son he’s endorsing.

  7. My Grandmother, who, as a young woman, lived through Reconstruction, would be gloating. When she did that, it always irritated me as a boy. It’s really too bad that she may yet be proven correct?

  8. Recall the reporter who asked Scott Brown, ” but you are taking Kennedys seat” Total approval of the MSM to us peasants having over lords, shameful.
